Ozpin x Reader «•Queen of Grimm•»

Fall s3 ep6

Ozpin sat at his desk with his chair facing the window. You stood near the window facing it with your hands behind your back. You both heard the elevator open making Ozpin eyes move to the side.

It was Qrow and he started to walk towards the desk while saying, "You know, he's making you both look like a fool." Ozpin says, "His heart is in the right place. He's just... misguided." You stood silent while still facing the window. Qrow then says with a coffee cup in his hand, "Sometimes, I'm not even sure he has a heart." He took a drink of it and continued, "So, have you both chosen your guardian yet?"

Ozpin says, turning his chair. "Maidens choose themselves. We simply believe we've found the right candidate. Ever since the day we've met her, we had the feeling she would be the one.-"

You interrupted him while still looking at the window. "She's strong, intelligent, caring... but most importantly, she's ready."

After a while Pyrrha enter the office and Qrow moved to the back while you stood near the window your back turned towards them. Pyrrha walked to the desk and sat in the seat that was in-front of it.

After a while of talking Ozpin then says as he chuckled and gestures to her, "Well, it comes as no surprise that they've chosen you to move on to the final round of the tournament. Your performance was exemplary." Pyrrha says smiling at him, "Thank you, Professor Ozpin, but I would never have made it this far without my teammates."

Qrow says in the back, "Personally, I think it's the other way around." Pyrrha moved her eyes and turned around towards as she sat up. Qrow while saying, "I'm sorry, but I don't believe we've been introduced" Qrow introduces himself, "Name's Qrow." Ozpin say as he gestures his hand towards Qrow, "Qrow is a trusted colleague of ours." Pyrrha turned to him and you while says, "Professor, Miss Y/N, if you don't mind me asking, why have you called me here?"

You slightly turned your head at her question but Ozpin says with a smile gesturing at the chair, "Please, take a seat." Pyrrha sat back down and Ozpin asked, "What is your favorite fairy tale?" Pyrrha was confused by this and said, "I'm... sorry?" Ozpin continues, "Fairy tales, stories from your childhood. Surely you must remember some of them."

Pyrrha was still confused about the question but answered it anyways, "Well, there's The Tale of The Two Brothers, The Shallow Sea, The Girl That was Born With Immortality, The Girl in the Tower..." Ozpin then asked, "What about The Story of the Seasons?"

Pyrrha says happily, "Well, of course! A callous old man, who refuses to leave his home, is visited by four traveling sisters. The first understands his reclusive nature and urges him to use his time in solitude to reflect and meditate. The second brings him fruits and flowers, tending to his crops and revitalizing his garden. The third warms the man's heart, convincing him to step outside and embrace the world around him. And the fourth and final sister begs him to look at all that he has, and be thankful. In return for their kindness, the man grants the maidens incredible powers, so that they may continue to help others all over the world. They graciously accept, and promise to share their gifts with the people of Remnant 'til the end of days. Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall; the four maidens. My mother loves that story."

You finally said and turned towards them was a warm smile "Would you believe me if I told you that one's been around since I was a girl?" She laughed at this and said, "you can't be that old, miss Y/N." You walked to the desk as Ozpin says, "Well, would you believe us if we told you it was true?" Pyrrha looked around giving a uneasy chuckle and said, "I beg your pardon?"

Ozpin continued, "What if I were to tell you that there were four maidens existing in this world, that could wield such tremendous power, without Dust?" Pyrrha says uneasy, "You mean... like a Semblance?" You said with a hand on Ozpin's shoulder, "Like magic."
