As Team RWBY exits their class. Blake was in the far back she looked tired. Sun noticed Blake and ran toward her saying "hey Blake! you uh doing ok?" Sun touched Blake's should to stop her and pulls it away making distance between them Blake turns to him sounding tired, "I'm fine." Sun cleaned his throat "so I hear there's this dance going on this weekend... I- pfft... sound pretty lame, but you and me, I'm thinking, not sound lame huh." Blake was confused about what he was saying "what's.?"
Sun says more clearly, "The dance! this weekend! You wanna go or what?" He smiles at her waiting for her response. She says, "I don't have time for a stupid dance." She started to walk away saying, "I thought you of all people would get that." Sun was sad about how Blake regretted him. Ruby looked at Blake walking away and then at Sun that was sad.

In RWBY dorm.

Blake says loudly, "You what?" Ruby then says, "We want you to go to the dance." Blake looked tired with her arms crossed "That's ridiculous." Yang sat by Blake and says, "Blake we're worried about you, this investigation is starting to mess with your head." Weiss starts pointing out things "you can't sleep, you hardly eat, and to be honest your grades have been suffering..."
Blake gets mad and says "you think I care about grades? people's lives are at stake!" Yang put Blake's hand down looking sad "We know, and we're all still trying to figure out what Torchwick is up to." Ruby says, "Thanks to you and Sun, we know they're operating somewhere outside of southeast Vale." Weiss put up her finger and said, "And, the Schnee company records singled out Vale as the primary target for Dust robberies over the last few months." Yang says, "Don't forget about their missing military tech too."

Blake replies, "But there still unanswered questions..." Ruby says "Blake, you won't be able to find anything if you can't even keep your eyes open!" Yang looks at Blake "all we're asking is that you take it easy for one day." Weiss says trying to cheer things up "it will be fun! Yang and I make sure of it." Yang then did a small jump on the bed and says "Yeah! We're planning the whole event!" Blake was surprised by both the jump and what Yang said, "Excuse me?" Weiss then says "Team CFVY's away mission lasted longer than expected." Yang says after Weiss's sentence, "So, Weiss and I were asked to pick up where they left off. And now we can make sure you have the perfect night." Weiss says, "And once it's all over, we'll return for our search, rested and ready."

Ruby asked Blake, "so what do you think?" Blake looked at them, "I think this is a colossal waste of time." she got up from her bed and headed to the door. She heads the door handle and says to them, "I'll be in the library." then she leaves the room closing the door. Leaving the 3. Yang sighs, "great." Weiss then says to Yang "she can't keep going like this." Then another knock was heard at the door.

Weiss opened the door shocked at what to see. It was Jaune holding a guitar. He started playing it singing," Weeeiiissss!" He stops and raises his hand. Weiss then shuts the door on him. There was another knock outside the door, Jaune says, "oh come on.." knocking on the door again "open the door... I promise not the sing..." Weiss thought she was going to regret this and opened the door again. Jaune played his guitar again and sang, "I liiiiieeeeddd!" She was right. She regretted it and facepalmed. He continued singing and playing his guitar "Weiss Sch-nee... will you... accompany me.. to the danceeeeee oooooon...!" He stopped trying to remember what day it was happening but figured it out by saying "Sunday..." Weiss asked Jaune, "are you done?" Jaune thinks then says "yes.?" She says "no." And closes the door in his face.

She looked at Yang and Ruby and said, "What?" Yang just says "and that is why they call you 'the ice Queen.' " Ruby looked at Yang and then looked out and realized something she fell to the ground. Her leg twitched a little. Weiss says "All my life, boys have only cared about the perks of my last name. Besides, I already have a date in mind." Ruby then stands up and says "Date or no date, none of this will matter if we can't get Blake to go."
