Lesson Learned s3 ep4

In you and Ozpin's office

Ozpin say in his office chair where you normally sit when company's there. You stood near the window humming a song you sang to one of your family members way back when.

Ozpin was watching the tournament but the volume was on low so he can hear your humming. He loved when he hears you hum nor sing. It calmed him when he heard you. You'd sing to him back to sleep when he woke from his nightmares.

You stopped humming and turns around walking to the desk. You stood beside him watching the tournament with him. He turned it up so you could hear it. You both watched the tournament.

Meanwhile with Weiss and Winter.

Weiss says to her sister saddened "You're... leaving?" Winter put down her tea cut and said to her sister, "Yes. I was merely needed to oversee the transport of additional units to Vale. Our last shipment was lost to an ambush. I believe you had a run-in with its cargo, actually. It's fortunate those Paladins were in the prototype stage; otherwise your team may not have fared so well." Weiss looked down at the table and Winter leaned and moved her hand on top of hers to comfort her "Weiss, you've done... well, out here, on your own. You should be proud." Winter moved her hand and sat up straight and said with a smile, "I'll be honest, it was quite amusing seeing Father's face the day you left for Beacon!"

Weiss sat up straight and crossed her arms saying smiling "I can't wait to show him what I learned!" Winter questioned her, "Oh? Then what do you think you've learned?" Weiss says looking away from her sister. "What do you mean? I'm getting better and better with my glyphs! I've even started Time Dilation!" Winter says staring at her little sister intently, "And what of your Summoning?"

Weiss says hesitantly while her hands are on the table. "I..." she sighed and looked away from her sister. "You know I can't." Winter says, "Don't be ridiculous. Every Schnee has the ability to summon. We have for generations." Weiss splayed her hands as she was frustrated at herself. "I've tried! It's just... it's the one thing I've been having trouble with!"

Winter continues, "We Schnees are unique. Unlike many, our Semblance is hereditary. But that doesn't mean it will come easily." She says while put her hand up and summoned a glyph. "Your Semblance is like a muscle. The more you practice with it, the stronger it will become. But if you only focus on one aspect of it... If you fail to test the limits of what you think is possible." The glyph grow quickly and brighter making Weiss look away from the suppose brightness and looked back to see a white and blue Beowolf beside Winter "then you'll never truly grow." Weiss smiled at this and hoped to one day achieve it.

In RWBY dorm.

Ruby and Qrow were playing a game and Ruby said out loud, "You'll never beat me, old man!" Qrow said back to her, "You're nothing but talk, kid!" Yang says cheering on Ruby "You can do it, Ruby!"

Ruby lost. Ruby was shocked by this she put her head down in defeat. Yang says quietly, "Ouch..." Qrow then looks over to Ruby and says, "and be the way, don't ever call me old." Yang says throwing her sister back "My turn!"

The game begun again and says, "NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHES!" Qrow then looks back at the Hologram and asking them. "Now, where was I?" Ruby pops up behind him and a hand on his shoulder. "You were telling us about your last mission!"

Qrow then says continuing on with the his story's, "Right, right... I'd come across a small village in the swamps west of Mistral. Right off the bat, I knew something wasn't right." Ruby says interrupting his story, "What were you doing there?" He answers her, "I needed information. Tired from battling Grimm along the way, I decided to start my search at the town's inn. The place was crawling with lowlifes and thugs, even a few Huntsmen that I could only assume had been hired by less-than reputable people for less-than respectable jobs. And that's when it happened."
