Chapter 4 Pay The Price

" W-what" I just stood there frozen as she rubbing my hand " Let's get this cleaned up Tyler " she said trying to change the subject but I just fell to my knees tears slowly falling from my eyes " Tyler" she sighed knelling down to my level " Why why would he do that" " It's because I was put in prison right, I mean the son of the chief thrown in jail for murder" " Tyler it's not your fault" I wiped my eyes and stood up " I need to be alone" I said walking over to the door " Tyler don't leave" I turned around to face her " Why Wednesday, you don't trust me I'm fucking 29 years old I think I can be by myself " I said and slammed the door shut behind me " Fuck!" I yelled in my head pulling my hair as I walked'' Of course the day I get released my father kills himself!" I yelled in frustration as I walked back to my old house. I knew where he kept the spare key so it wouldn't be a problem getting in, I looked around at the familiar streets putting my hood up hiding my face and I saw the weathervane and it started pouring " Great!" I thought to myself as I kept walking. 10 minutes came and I found myself in front of my house feet planted on the doormat and sighed taking my hands out of my pocket bending down to grab the spare key from the lid of one of the garden lights "Here we go" I sighed opening the door and walked in turning the lights on looking at the table" Im sorry Dad…" I sighed going to sit down until I heard glass breaking " Hello?" I looked around and saw a gun being pointed at my face " Woah okay" I slowly put my hands up " Who are you?" " You killed my mother!" "I di-" And your father let it happen!" " I'm sorry, who's your mother?" " Your father paid the price now it's your turn" " My father killed hims-" I heard the loud bang form the gun and felt something hit my chest " Did he" the person said and ran away as I fell to my back hitting my head off the chair and passed out. ( Wednesdays POV) I'm paced back and forth as Enid came over " I'm trying to apologize can you at least listen to me!" She yelled and my attention snapped at her " Tyler's been gone for 3 hours! He said he need time to himself but this is too long" " Why do you care!?" " Because he's suicidal Enid!" I yelled and I grabbed my keys " I'm going to look for him" " I'm not letting you go alone" she sighed standing up and we walked to my car " I'm going to check his house first he probably went there to grieve about his father " I said as we started driving" " He better have not have done something stupid" I said to myself as I drove to his house it was that far from mine driving " Wednesday why are you so worried about him he's a murderer!" " Enid I'm not going through this again so you can be quite and kind your damn business or get out of my car!" I said frustrated and stop that car when I saw Tyler's house and the light on " Oh thank goodness" Ok thought and got out of the car running opening the door( Tyler's POV)
I could hear yelling " Tyler!" I heard Wednesday yelling " Enid call 9-1-1!" She yelled more "Tyler can you hear me,what happened? Did you do this?" She asked and looked at Enid " Okay they're on the way" Enid said and walked over " Is there anything I can do?" " Yeah wait for them outside " she said then I couldn't hear anything ( Wednesdays POV) I was panicking "Tyler?" I said as a checked him for a pulse but I couldn't find one " Tyler stay with me" I started CPR " Come on!" " Wednesday they're here" I turned to Enid and sighed relieved when the walked in the door I got up and stepped back" Ma'am what happened?" " I don't know, I don't know if he shot himself or-" I said and saw the broken window" Ma'am?" " Someone broke in…" " Someone wanted to kill him" (Tyler's POV) I look around and see paramedics around me " Sir can you hear me" I looked at him then ignored him looking at Wednesday as she sat next to me " Tyler" she sighed " I'm sorry, I sho -" " Shh Tyler it's okay"
