Chapter 16 Don't Let Them

" if this isn't over in a week comeback, it's just the brain responding to trama" the doctor said looking at Wednesday then me " Do you have any idea what could've triggered this trama response?" She asked I shook my head no " She was making pancakes when this started and that's was a year ago?" I turned to face Wednesday and she nodded " You waited a year to get help?" " Well we thought it would get better but it got worse when the twins were born" I sighed softly" Well I'll write you a prescription and if they don't help it at all come back in a week" Wednesday nodded as the doctor walked over to the computer" Can we go home after this, I want to sleep " I told Wednesday" Of course, I recon you didn't get much sleep last night " I nodded in agreement they just keep getting worse and I don't know why " Okay they should be filled by the time you get to the pharmacy " Okay" Wednesday said grabbing my hand as I got out of the bed " Thank you doctor" she nodded and watched us walk out and we walked straight to the car she got in the driver side as I sat down and buckled putting my seat back again " Don't fall asleep on me this time" she chuckled looking over at me I smiled sitting back up leaning my head on her shoulder " I can't drive like this dork" he pushed me away softly and grabbed my hand " I can drive like this though" I smiled at her " Did I ever tell you how much I like when you drive?" I asked and she shook her head no " No why?" She asked " Because I get to admire you're beautiful face" she laughed shaking her head as she started the car " Let's get going dork" she started driving to the pharmacy it wasn't that far away I just pulled my phone out connecting it to Bluetooth " Any song you want to listen to love?" She shook her head no and I nodded scrolling through finding the perfect song the song played for a few seconds before the lyrics started " Baby last night was hands down one of the best nights I had no doubt" I sang along softly " If I never get to take the northern lights, or if I never get to see the Eiffel Tower at night, oh if all I got was your hand in my hand. Baby I could die a happy man" I sang and softly and she smiled " Baby and that red dress brings me down to my knees oh but that black makes hard to breathe, you're a saint you're a goddess, the cutest, the hottest, the masterpiece " I turned to face her smiling at her big smile on her face " If I never get to build my mansion in Georgia, drive a sports car up the coast of California, Oh if all I got was your hand in my hand, Baby I could die a happy man" i pulled her hand up to my lips planting a small kiss " That's our song now" she chuckled at my comment " Okay weirdo" " You liked it" " Jeeze you're so annoying" " Just pointing out the fact you wanted me " I snickered as she hit me and parked the car "Let's go "we got out of the car and walked in all the way to the back " Hi how can I help you?"  the pharmacist asked " We're here to pick up a prescription for Tyler Galpin " Wednesday said as the guy nodded going back and looking for it " Here you go " " Luckily you're insurance covers it and you get one free refill if needed " Thank you have a nice day" I smiled and we walked out and back to the car " Check when you have to take them " she told me and I nodded " Three a day?!" I turned to her " I have to take one at 8am then one at 12pm and one at 8pm again " " And I have to eat before I can take it" " Well let's go get you some food because it's almost 12 " I groaned " Do I have to take it today can't it wait till tomorrow" she shook her head no as she started driving again " What do you want? McDonald's Subway Wendy's Pizza?" She started naming places " Pizza I guess" and she smiled " Maybe we could get garlic knots and wings instead?" She suggested knowing that's what I like " That sounds like a plan" I smiled at her as she drove " Wanna put in an online order and it there?" I nodded she smiled " We can make it a little date then" She stated and I just smiled putting in the order online as she drove to the pizza place I put music on and we just sang along and before we knew it we were there " Okay let's go enjoy some food" she said grabbing my meds for me I nodded smiling " I could've taken them when I got back in the car" she shook her head " When you're finished with your food you have to take them" I just nodded in agreement and we walked in holding hands walking up to the counter" Hi I'm we placed an order for Galpin?" Wednesday told the worker and he nodded" For here or to go?" He asked " For here" I replied" Alright well it'll just be a few more minutes, if you guys would like drinks fountain drinks are $2.49 and 2 liters are $3.99 " he stated " You think we should just get a 2 liter?" She asked me and I just shrug my shoulders " Whatever you want to do love" " Well take a 2 liter " she said pulling out her wallet but I pulled mine out " Does it matter we live together " she stated and I just chuckled softly to myself" You're right" I smiled as she paid for the food and the drink the guy handed us to cups as we walked to the table and grabbed a 2 liter of Pepsi I set them on the table as we sat across from each other " Been a hot minute since we've went on a date" I mentioned and she smiled" You got that right" she smiled as I poured her a cup of soda then myself one and our food came " Thanks" I said to the server giving him a small smile and I turned to Wednesday" Let's dig in" I grabbed a thing of wings and garlic knots giving her the other ones I started to eat before she switched to my side of the table and sat next to me taking a bite of her food and then leaned her head against my shoulder, I just smiled softly to myself resting my head on hers we sat like this for a while enjoying our food " I'll clean up you take your meds" she said I put the pill in my mouth and washed it down with a little soda that was left in the cups her stacking the empty cups and the dishes putting them in the end of the table so it's easier for the server and we walked up to the counter putting money in the tip jar " Have a nice day" we smiled walking out holding hands walking to the car " Guess we go home to the twins" I sighed getting in the car" I was really enjoying our date" " I mean we could ask Enid to take the twins to her house for a few hours?" She suggested" That'd be nice " she grabbed her phone dialing Enids number " Hey what's up? How did his appointment go?" Enid asked as she was on speaker phone " Good, but do you think you can take the twins to your house for a few hours?" She asked her " Of course! They love coming to aunties house I'll pack up bags and then take them when do you want them back?" She turned to me " Ummm maybe 6?" He said " Gotcha well bye guys" she hung up and I looked at her and she started driving I of course played music " Not Wild Wild West" she groaned " You listened to it a lot this week"" It's a go song " I chuckled as she rolled her eyes " Fine fine " I grabbed the phone and out on Cold Coffee " She's like cold coffee in the morning, im drunk off of last night's whiskey and coke" I sang softly and she smiled rolling her eyes " You're so cringy" she laughed and I smiled grabbing her free hand " But you love it " " Yes, yes I do" he smiled looking over at me for a second before back at the road  we just sang the songs that played as she drove us home when we got there she parked the car and turned it off" Looks like Enid is gone" I mentioned and she nodded getting out the car I got out following her inside and she dragged me upstairs and into the room " Woah" I said as I almost tripped over the steps and she pushed me in into the bed " It's cuddle time" she said taking her shoes off and walking over to the closet " Hey you get to change into pajamas but I don't?!" I joked and she just nodded " Yup" she took her shirt off and went in my side of the closet grabbing one of if my bed shirts she took her bra off and threw my shirt on " What are you gonna use my boxers as shorts next?" I asked walking over hugging her from behind " Yup" she said turning around standing in her tippy toes to kiss my cheek " Jeeze you got taller" she rolled her eyes " Yeah well I'm do have a Dad Bod" I chuckled taking my shirt off showing off my awesome Dad Bod " You dork" she rolled her eyes replacing her pants and underwear with my boxers " You're just jealous because you can't have all of this " she threw a pair of basketball shorts at me " Get dress or no cuddle time, and none of this" she pointed at herself from ger head to toe " when we do tango again" she said seriously as I laughed" Tango?" " Sex Tyler" she rolled her eyes walking to the bed and covering up under the sheets getting comfortable as I quickly threw my shorts on and climbed into bed next to her and she cuddled up to her " Now one of us doesn't have to get up, we can enjoy our nap" she put her head on my chest wrapping her leg over my legs basically laying on top of me"Your comfortable?" I asked and she nodded"good" I smiled softly resting my head on hers as we went to sleep
