The night was quite, and slow. Fawks had already left to sleep. Eva slowly came to realise her mind was in a world of its own as she scanned the often busy streets. Deciding it's past her bedtime, she made her way into the cosy attic.

Having lived almost completely alone for years, Eva and Fawks never really needed anyone. Despite being mostly human, Eva could understand her Bird companion perfectly. In their 13 years of loneliness Fawks came to care for Eva as her younger sister.

Eva woke to 2 beady eyes staring at her "Fawks, can you stop staring at me, it's creepy." The hawk did step away.
"I was starting to wonder if you were going to wake up." Indeed it was 7:00 already and Fawks, as always, was bored.

The daft bird and half-human went forth to the window, to find the bustling city awake again. The perfect crimes happen in the morning mostly 5-10 o'clock in the morning. The police often handed it, but the cops don't have wings- the bird duo do.

"Ok so my shift starts at 10 today, let's make it quick." Eva had a daily schedule, wake up, eat breakfast, brush teeth, fight crime, go to work. After work, come home at 2, complain about her boss Sharon, fight some crime.

Fawks knew from the moment she woke up that morning the Eva would be sore and tired. They had spent the morning and afternoon fighting hard, and Sharon was extra hard on her employees on Thursdays, the one day all the boxes of merchandise came in their woolies boxes.

Eva finally came out with her gloves and mask on, her mask covered her whole face, with the built in ability to see though white circles supposed to resemble eyes. She pulled her gloves on, spread her 20 ft wings to half their wingspan, and jumped out the window. Then proceeding to fall, flailing her arms, legs and wings until she was able to flap back to the rooftops.
