When I woke the next day, the door was open, and Scientist Cameron was studying my ring. I left the room and nearly threatened to touch some of her precious paper before she handed my ring back. "You may need this, and your going to meet some friends of mine, we've got a group going on. The girls really want to meat you, their all weird, like you." I stare at her holding back a laugh

"So you've got a super secret girl squad of weirdo's and freaks?"

"Something like that" we both broke into laughter. I slid on my mask and walked into the third room.

I'm instantly greeted by 2 girls, 1 is about my age, the other Cameron's. "Hi, I'm Gea! And this is Janice! I've heard a lot about you." Gea was around my age, and she was more enthusiastic than I've ever been in my entire life, to compare, it was that one time I knew of an attack plan on the city, I woke up early to wake up Fawks. We were an hour early and stopped it instantly. Janice stared at Gea with a disappointed look "you're going to annoy her. Shut up." She had a slightly Scottish accent, and it reminded me of Shrek telling donkey to do the one thing he's incapable of doing. But there was another figure in the corner.

Gea must have caught me staring because she begun being annoying "oh she's blind, but don't worry, she's cool. She's got this magic and she can make her way through crowds with it, it shows her a path she needs to take, and if there's something in the way, it navigates around it!" She kept talking, but I had drowned out her voice, Aura said she's blind, she also said she had magic, her expertise was healing, but she might have had other types. Suddenly, she stood, breaking me out of my thought process. She walked toward us, "Gea, get out the way, you're clearly annoying her, even I can see that. And I'm blind." She spoke in a light voice, she slowly opened her mouth again, "you must be the new kid, I'm Aura. Your footsteps are much lighter, more precise, as though your making sure there are no creaky floor boards." So here I am, meeting the giant person. "It's just me Aura, and surely it's not that weird to wish to be silent." I don't think it's that weird, I just want to be silent. "Welcome, Avis, you should remove the mask, it's pretty useless."

"It keeps the line between both my lives clear. I should go get my bird." With that, I leave. However 'Eva' is still in the small house. I take off, sliding my ring off my finger and slipping it into my pocket.

"Fawks! You ready to fly?" I called across the room. To my surprise, there wasn't an answer, "Fawks?" I called again hoping she'd hear. "Fawks come out" I spoke in bird this time. No answer. Checking the attic, I found no bird. Though when I entered the kitchen, there was a feather, and a note.

She had been taken. Fawks was gone.
