Eva woke in time, then realising, she was not inside, and it was not 7 in the morning. The 13 year old stood, noticing the constellations were not remotely similar to the ones she knows. Not to mention the elephant in the room, 3 full, bright moons in the middle of the sky. Stars littering the sky as a bright comet flew across the sky, it's tail lighting the night with green.

In case it wasn't enough, the light was mirrored on an impossibly flat ocean, with a small raft. As the sky returned to a sparkling black, Eva stood, causing the water to ripple. In an attempt to summon her wings to find land, she clenched her fists, instead a flame ignited and engulfed her hands, making her jump in surprise.

Out of shock, she loosened her hands, in turn, the fire calmed until it disappeared. Still in shock, Eva looked at her hands, they were perfectly fine, unharmed, only a scar rose on the back of her right hand. She tightened her fists again, focusing on calling the fire to her. And it came. Eva took herself to the edge of the raft, and looked at herself in the reflective water, her once brown eye turned to a more amber shade.

Eva went to the centre of the small raft with just a stride, and she began a light show for only her to see, fire swirled around in pattens, while blasts of fireworks of just the fire launched into the air, the burst rocking the water. Then, a huge wave from nowhere knocked her of the raft, into the ocean, and back into her body.

This part wasn't as big so I could explain her 'happy place' and how she got fire control. Don't worry about a boring 'oh yeah, I have 100% perfect fire control.' Even I want her to fail well.
