Eva

Returning home seemed too easy. And it was, because soon after we emerged from the evil base we were met by some Atlas knew, he called him Scorpion. We landed so we could get a proper fight. I stepped up for the fight, but he discarded me. "Girl, step away. I must only fight the strongest." I didn't step down. Instead, I opened my wings challenging him. Anger in my eyes. My acts were not my own, they were embedded deep into my brain. "No. I will fight you. He wouldn't last a second in a fight." I growled, and he did a 'whatever' shrug. He held out his wings, and out from behind him came a tail! He had a tail, and it was a scorpion tail! Unable to stand down, I stretched my wings and gave them a flap, using it as a marker for fire. Scorpion's expression turned sour, and we begun to circle each other like wolves.

Atlas

As they circled each other, it was an obvious death sentence to enter. No one had ever challenged Scorpion,

I lifted effortlessly to a higher platform, so i could watch easier. Scorpion lit up his wings, putting Eva under pressure. As a result, Eva sprouted a devilish tail, thin and pointed. From my vantage point, i saw tiny horns protruding from her scull, glistening white, like her tail. Scorpion wasn't scared, as he attacked first, failing to penetrate her skin with his scorpion tail. Eva dove for the wings, putting a foot on the stinger, disabling it. She ripped a handful of feathers from his chocolate brown wings, and pulled his head back, guiding him to push her up against a rock, but before he had the chance. She turned him and jammed him into the rock. Though she made a mistake, because by pushing him into the rock, she jumped off, giving him use of his tail yet again, so he stabbed her in the thigh.

Even though she was stabbed in the thigh, the poi-venom didn't affect her. She charged at him, ripping off his venomous barb with her foot, pushing it to the ground. She then head-butted him, sending him backwards, 2 long rips in his metallica shirt were spewing blood. Eva grabbed his arm, dislocated the elbow, and started punching him with his own hand. Scorpion screamed like a girl at the pain, alerting 3 humans who were watching the lab. They made their way over in the boat, I estimated we had 3 minutes. Eva ended her blood fest by removing one of scorpion's wings, he had lost to much blood, passed out, then lost his pulse. Eva began walking toward me as the humans made it to the shore and were running up. She collapsed in my arms as I lowered her to the floor.

The humans saw Eva and one screamed, the tall dark one walked up to me, but i would defend her with my life. I spread my wings and lit them in a defensive stance. The girl took one look at Eva, and muttered something under her breath, and then Eva was stolen from my hands by an invisible force. "Neque... Amica..." Eva muttered. "It's ok, friends." She added, then she passed out. "No!" I yelled, and ran to put heat on the wound. Stealing her from her so-called friends.

After several minutes of lighting fire on her wound, the ghostly ribbons came out from under my curtain of wings. They had come for her. Another round of tears came, but if the ribbons were here, i must let them do what's right. Instead of wrapping around her body to pull her to the afterlife, it went straight to her thigh wound. It closed the wound, taking as much of the venom as it could, and waking Eva. I hid my wings to see one of the 3 girls, the one with cloudy white eyes, and the annoying bird, of which the ribbons came from. A 4th girl materialised before the bird as it flew to Eva, it flew over her. "Salve, Fawks." Eva wheezed. "Did you cry over me?" I blushed. "No. You disgust me." I denied, flying up to perch above. She hid her wings, and her horns and tail disappeared.

Eva

"Hi! That strange boy defended you with his life, who is he? Did he not here us say that we wont hurt you?" Gea prodded. Atlas defended me? Explains why he was crying. I wanted to explain, but my head was spinning, so i did my best. "That's Atlas, he's ok, and, he only speaks Latin." I tried. Soon after, i blacked out.

When i woke up, i was in a room with Atlas, who was bound to a chair, sleeping. "Atlas?" I asked, waking him up. He jolted awake. "Oh my god your alive!" I tried to sit up, but one of my legs wouldn't work, so i took a second. "Why are you bound to a chair? Where are my friends? What happened?" I asked worried, confused and mildly angry.

"Your friends are mean, but they are alive, and in the week you've been asleep, i've been taking care of you. But i may have attacked you friend once, the loud one who goes invisible." He explained.
"A WEEK!? I've been asleep for a week? What about that fight, with the scorpion dude, did he win? How long have you been in the chair?" I yelled louder than expected. I have been a sleep for a week?
"You won, and 4 days."

Cameron was quick to shove Atlas in the cupboard. "Your awake! I have good news, and i have bad news."

"Is the bad news that the group and Atlas don't get along?" I guessed, she shook her head and leaned in. "The good news, is that your alive. The bad news is... we had to amputate your leg." She didn't look like she was joking. She helped me out of bed, and low and behold, i only had one leg. My left leg was gone. "You might still feel like you have 2 legs for a while." She said while leaving me to my crutches. I opened the cupboard and unbound Atlas. "Don't hurt anyone." I told him, switching into Latin. "What happened to your leg?" He gasped, earning a stare.

I thought i might close the story now, i'm working on another, and it will be longer.
