F.R.I.D.A.Y does us the favor and lets the team know, dinner's ready. And in return F.R.I.D.A.Y lets me know that Steve is back from his meeting. We set everything on the table, and the team start walking in, nat and wanda walks in telling us how their spa day went, then pietro, sam and vision walks in telling us how their mission went, bruce and tony walked in after them and grumpy follows shortly after, lastly steve walks in and i feel my stomach drop, i still need to talk to him but it will have to wait after ron leaves.
He walks over to me and greets me with a kiss on the lips and he glances to clint then back at me and I give him a nod, letting him know that Ron is aware of me and him, he gives me another kiss.
"I've missed your lips." He says to me.
"I missed you too, how was your meeting?" I tell him as the others are sitting down at the table already, fixing their hot dogs.
"Boring like always, so I take it everything went well with clint?" He says as he glances to ron.
"Um yea, everything's good." But I don't sound convinced and he notices it.
"What's wrong?" He asks me sternly.
"Not-
"Don't lie to me brooke." He spits out.
"Can't say the same thing for you." I find myself spitting back.
"What's that supposed to mean?" He asks me as he arches his eyebrows but then he looks over to Tony then at me then back at tony, shooting daggers at him.

"Can we please talk after clint leaves, i don't want another scene, let's try to have a nice dinner." I tell him as I meet his eyes and they look into mine.
"Fine." He grabs my hand and he walks us over to the table. He pulls out a chair for me as I sit, sitting next to Ron on one side and Steve sits next to me on the other side. We start to eat and Sam starts the conversation.
"So bucknasty scored some, last night." He says with a smirk as he wiggles his eyebrows causing bucky to give him the death stare, and the others start to chuckle as i start to choke on my hot dog not expecting the nickname, ron and steve both pat me in the back as i reach for my drink to take a sip.
"Shut up Sam!" Bucky shouts at him.
"Geez sam, warning next time, you made Brooke choke on her hot dog." Ron says as he pulls away his hand from my back.
"Wouldn't be the first time she chokes on a hot dog." Bucky mumbles but still loud enough for us to hear, and now it's Ron's turn to start choking on his hot dog as nat and i pat on his back. As the others widen their eyes as Pietro and Sam break into laughter.
