"Dude!" Alfred yelled as Arthur walked through the door.

Alfred tackled Arthur with a big hug, Arthur ending up on the ground. Arthur became irritated and got up immediately. Alfred still clung to him, though.

"Get off me, you git!" Arthur yelled

"Aw, come on Artie! You know you love me." Alfred playfully pouted and batted his eyelashes.

Arthur blushed and turned away to hide it. He smiled, then felt Alfred's hand on his shoulder.

Arthur turned to Alfred and gave him a small smile. Alfred kissed his cheek and Arthur turned a deep red shade. Arthur kissed Alfred this time. They moved to the couch as things got heated.

Arthur stopped Alfred before anything else could happen, though. Alfred got a bit frustrated, he went up to Arthur, who was in the kitchen and looked at him.

"Stop looking at me like that..." Arthur could tell that Alfred was upset with him.

"Why don't you love me?" Alfred asked him.

"Don't say that."

"Answer me! We've been together for four years, and you barely even kiss me," Alfred pauses for a minute, " You've never told me you love me. I get it, taking it slow is great, but this slow? It's unhealthy!"

Arthur looked at him, he just stared for a while. Alfred finally shifted his eyes from the white tile to meet Arthur's eyes. A tear slipped away from Arthur's eye and he quickly brushed it away. But Alfred saw it. But then, Al broke the silence.

"Do you really want this?"

Another tear fell down Arthur's cheek. "I... I don't know...."

Arthur could see Al's heart break, his hope shatter, his eyes start to swell with tears. Arthur's mouth slightly opened, forming a dis shaped "O".

Arthur walked over to Al and placed his shaky hands around his neck. Al grabbed one of his hands and they stood there, holding each other for a while. They didn't dare look at each other, fearing the realization that it was over. Until Arthur spoke, shattering their fairytale, ruining anything that could've been.

"I think I'll go now... I'm so sorry. I.. I love you." with that, Arthur walked out of Alfred's home and drove away.

Alfred stood in the same place. He thought that maybe he'd come back and they'd get back together again, but he knew, deep inside, Arthur was gone... forever.
