While the two walked off into the bedroom, Feli watched them carefully. He watched for any signs of romance, love, or anything his brother wouldn't usually do with "just a friend".

"Lovi's walking much closer to him than anyone else. He's less angry with him too. He's so much nicer to Alfred." Feliciano thought to himself.

"I bet they're fucking." Feli said to Ludwig.

Feliciano said this as nonchalantly as possible, he wouldn't normally say something so profane, but it was hard for him to take the news.

"I seriously doubt it, Feliciano." Ludwig tried to hide their secret as best he could. He wanted to protect them and he wanted to be a good friend, he had never really been a friend before, Feli was the first.

Meanwhile in the bedroom, Lovino was pacing, blabbering about Feli, the kiss, and making something out of practically nothing, "Fratello is going to find out soon!"

"Dude, calm it. We'll be fine! He doesn't know anything, and if he does, he probably thinks we're doing worse stuff that we actually are!"

"How is that better?!" Lovino started freaking out even more, wondering about what Feli thought about Alfred and him.

"Look bro, you're fine. We're fine. Feli is fine. Ludwig is fiiine. We are all okay!" Alfred sat next to Lovino on the bed, wrapping an arm around him.

Lovi thought about shaking Al off of him, but he thought it was kind of nice. He liked the feeling of being wanted, of being loved.

So, instead, he nuzzled his head into Alfred's chest. Alfred was surprised that Lovi didn't hit him, or bite him, or kick him somehow, but he let it happen. Alfred took this newly found vulnerability to just simply kiss the top of Lovino's head.

"Your hair is really soft." Alfred whispered.

Lovi glanced up; he didn't know how to react. Nobody ever complimented him. He wasn't sure what to say back.

"Uhm... thanks I guess.. your.. uh your face is nice." Lovi tried to return a compliment.

Alfred just giggled and held Lovi closer. Lovi started cursing to himself so Al loosened up.

They didn't say much after that. They just listened to each other's breathing, they listened to their heart beats, and watched out for any signs of Feli or Ludwig.

They stayed like that for a while, until Lovino broke it with a small apology.

"I wasn't cussing at you, by the way."

Alfred was confused at first, but then he recalled what had made him release his grip on the Italian.

"Oh, well, I'm the only one in here besides you, so you were either cussing at me or at yourself," Al forced a laugh.

Lovi looked up at him and nodded.

"What?"

"I was cussing myself out."

"Why?"

"Why does it matter, bastard? I wasn't cussing at you, that's all that matters!"

"Fine, you're right, it's none of my business to know.. But I was just wonde-"

"You mean a lot to me, I know we've just met, but I haven't felt this way about anyone in a long time. Even when I was dating Toni, there was a lot of built up anger behind the relationship, I'm sorry."

Alfred cocked his head, he took a long while to process the information.

Meanwhile, Lovino removed himself from Alfred and scooted to the back of the bed and leaned on the headboard.

He waited for Alfred's reaction. He waited a long time. He watched the American take the information in and replay those words Lovi had just said to him. He had been waiting so long that he had gotten worried. He felt like he needed to fix this, and fix it fast.

"I-I'm sorry.. I shouldn't h-have told you.... I should go."

As Lovino crawled off the bed and started to leave, Alfred went after him. He followed after Lovi into the living room where everybody was. Everybody.

"Lovi? Are you alright? What did Alfred do to you?" Feliciano started overwhelming the two with questions, but they were all ignored.

Alfred could barely hear him. He was focused on the person in front of him. Standing by the doorway, almost in tears.

Alfred went up to him and hugged him; he held him tight and whispered in his ear, "You mean so much to me too."
