Alfred stood alone, thinking about what happened just three days ago. He walked the street at night, around the same time the break up happened, every night, attempting to get away from the pain he felt, attempting to run from his feelings.

Alfred stared at the ground, thinking about his now ex-boyfriend. He thought about how Arthur used to cuddle with him on the couch, and how he gave him kisses on the cheek, and hugs from behind, and his warm lips-

"Hey! Watch where you walk asshole!" Alfred barley noticed what had happened before a man, slightly shorter than Al, pushed him out of his way.

Alfred apologized softly, unlike his normal self, and continued walking. The mysterious guy walked off, angrier than ever.

I hate this! I hate being sad, I hate being lonely, I hate Arthur!

Alfred couldn't believe what he just thought. He cared so much about Arthur, he loved him, what happened?

Al sat on a park bench advertising McDonalds, he was there for a while, thinking about Arthur, thinking of better times, he tried not to get sad, but that didn't work very well. He then heard an unfamiliar voice.

"What's wrong? You look sad, it's not fun being sad so I want to cheer you up!" An Italian boy was standing above him, looking at him with a big smile.

"Um, yeah... I'm fine, I'll be okay... I mean... I am the hero."Alfred said emotionless. He told that to himself whenever he needed a lift in mood, usually it made him feel useful and needed.

"Alright, but I want to make sure, now that we're friends and all!" The Italian sat down next to Al and started humming some song.

"What's your name?"

"Alfred. How 'bout you bro?" Alfred already felt better knowing that someone would talk to him, knowing he isn't alone.

"I'm Feliciano! You can call me Feli. I really like Pasta! Pasta is so good, Do you like pasta? Oh! We can be best friends and eat Pasta all the time! Well, not best friends, I have one of those, but he likes potatoes and sausage, Oh! and beer, Luddy loves beer..."

Alfred listened to Feli talk about his life. He just listened, he didn't interrupt, he didn't get distracted by the cat passing by —although Feli did—, or the honking cars that drove passed them. Alfred wouldn't usually care, but he wanted to start over, he wanted to have a good friend to talk to, he wanted to listen and he wanted to talk, he wanted a friend again.

"What about you Alfred, what's your life like?" Feli asked curiously.

"Well, I live alone, I don't have many friends, I have a brother in Canada named Mathieu-" Feli cut him off.

"You have a brother?! My fratello is cranky all the time, but he's nice, really! Lovino likes yelling at people for silly reasons and calling people "bastard", he gave Luddy a silly nickname too! It's Potato Eater, or Potato Bastard. You should meet him sometime!" Feli seemed excited to speak about his brother.

"Oh! Do you want to stay the night at my house? We'll have a lot of fun, I promise!" Feli asked Al.

"Um," Alfred thought about how he'd go home to no one and decided to say yes, "sure! As long as you don't mind, I know I won't be, but I don't want to be an intruder."
