ONE

"I cannot believe you're dragging me to your stupid lacrosse practice" Sapphire groaned as she followed behind Scott and Stiles who were too busy talking to acknowledge her. "Fine, I'll just go over here" she said as she stormed over to the bleechers sitting down and pulling her phone out to text Lydia.

Sapphire:

omg Stiles is forcing me to watch his lacrosse practice, 

I'm gonna die of boredom

Lydia:

Maybe you'll spot a cute guy on the field

Sapphire:

I don't think that any of them are my type anyway

Sapphire put her phone down when she heard some kids cheering. She looked up to see someone who was catching every ball making sure it didn't go into the net. Sapphire watched in shock at his reflexes as he caught every last one till there were no balls left. She wondered who was under the helmet. The misterious boy took off his helmet and Sapphire could see his face. He had short blond hair and was extremely cute. He looked over to his team mates as they cheered for him "nice Liam" one of them who she believed was Garret said. "So mystery boy has a name" she thought to herself as she got up and headed to Scott and Stiles who had that same shocked expression on their faces.

"Looks like you guys got some competition" she said, causing them to groan and head toward the field.

Sapphire headed back to the bleachers, sitting down to watch them practise. Her attention diverted to Malia and Kira who sat down beside her also watching the boys practice.

"Hey guys" Sapphire said as she gave them both a small hug.

Sapphire was one of the only people Malia would let hug her. They had a special bond that started a few days of her being a human again.

They watched as Stiles and Scott failed miserably against Liam. Sapphire wasn't surprised that Stiles couldn't make a goal but it was shocking to see how many times Scott had missed the goal.

"Stiles you suck!" she cupped her hands around her mouth and yelled as she watched him fail to pick the ball up and the throw it right into the goalies lacrosse stick.

"I appreciate the love and support sis" Stiles yelled back sarcastically causing the team to laugh.

She watched as Liam looked back toward her their eyes locking for a second before he snapped back to reality as he went to take his turn, throwing the ball perfectly into the net with no effort.

Sapphire cringed everytime Scott missed the goal she had finally had enough of it and got up, storming onto the field toward him.

"What the hell do you think your doing?" coach asked.

"Going to talk some sense into your team captain" she said walking past him.

"Good" he nodded as she kept walking.

Scott looked back, his expression turning into a scared one when he saw Saph storming toward him.

"Oh no," Stiles said as he stumbled towards them.

"What the fuck do you think your doing?" Sapphire asked the werewolf, putting her hands on her hips.

"I'm having a really off day" Scott groaned looking down at her.

"That's an understatement" Stiles said "Scott you're dying out there, I feel actual physical pain watching you" he continued.

"I don't see you making any shots out there" Scott snapped at him.

"That's because I suck" he said.

"Yes he does, you're way better than him at this Scott so get your head in the game, because I didn't come to watch you fail to get one shot" Sapphire pretty much yelled causing the whole lacrosse team to look at them.

"Yeah you tell him" Garrent taunted making Sapphire more annoyed.

"Shut the fuck up Garret,  no one was talking to you!" she snapped causing the team to burst out laughing at Garret. She could see Liam trying to hide his laughter but failing miserably.

Sapphire had enough of their bullshit and stormed off back towards Malia and Kira who looked at her shocked. She sat back down beside them and continued watching.

Coach had Scott and Stiles on goalie, they managed to knock down a couple of people, causing her to smile and cheer but she immediately stopped when she saw them both fail to stop Liam who obviously made it past them and got a goal.

"That was luck!" Malia yelled toward coach Finstock, Sapphire chuckled at the girl and looked over to see Kira with a mortified expression on her face "do over!" Malia yelled.

"Sweetheart there are no do overs this is practice" coach said chuckling at the girl.

"Ten bucks on Scott and Stiles" she yelled back.

"I'll take that action" coach nodded "hey Liam, get back in there" he yelled.

Stiles looked over to them with a worried expression causing Sapphire to chuckle.

The two boys got into poston looking towards each other before nodding. Coach blew the whistle and the two boys charged towards Liam. He'd managed to make it past Stiles who then tripped over, but when he tried to take on Scott he was flipped over his shoulder and thrown to the ground. Sapphire swore she heard a snap as she quickly got up and sprinted toward the group of people surrounding Liam who was on the ground groaning in pain.

"What the fuck Scott" Saph yelled as she knelt down beside Liam putting her hand on his shoulder.

"Are you okay?" she asked as he looked up at her.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine" he said but it didn't convince her.

she heard coach yell as he ran over to them "don't touch him!".

Sapphire quickly moved her hand off his shoulder but still stayed at his side.

"I'm fine coach" Liam promised as he tried to stand "I'm alright" but as soon as he put weight on his ankle he yelped in pain. Scott and Stiles immediately ran to help him, putting his arms around their shoulders.

"We'll take him to the nurse" they said as they walked up slowly, Sapphire following swiftly behind.

"I can sit in the back with you if you don't mind" Sapphire asked smiling at Liam who nodded.

"I'm really sorry about this Liam" she apologised as she gently lifted his leg up and onto her lap so he was comfortable.

Liam looked at her and smiled "you don't need to apologise, you did nothing wrong" he promised.

Stiles started the jeep and headed for the hospital. He drove over a speed bump without warning them, Sapphire jolted up causing Liam to wince in pain from the sudden movement.

"sorry, I'm sorry I'll try not to move" she apologised again.

"You sure do like to apologise a lot don't you" Liam joked causing Sapphire to chuckle.

"Sorry" she said and laughed again.

"Y'know I never caught your name" Liam said.

"Oh, right, I'm Sapphire," she said, smiling at him.

"pretty name" he complemented.

"thanks" she said trying to hide the blush that formed on her cheeks.
