Sapphire woke up with a pounding headache. She looked around the room and saw Scott and Kira with a tied up unconscious Liam.

"He looks so young" Kira said, looking down at the boy.

"He is, he's only fifteen, him and Sapphire shouldn't have to deal with this, they should be living their lives without the fear of dying"

Scott said.

Sapphire looked down, Scott was right, she hadn't experienced what it was like to be a teenager. She remembered all the times she was terrified of dying, she remembered all the panic attacks. All the times she thought she was going to die. A tear slipped from her eye as she looked back over to them.

Kira looked to Scott "what are we gonna do with him?" she asked.

Scott looked towards Kira "we're gonna help him".

"What if he doesn't want our help?" she asked.

"He will".

Sapphire slowly stood up walking towards the three "what happened?" she asked.

Scott looked at her relief flooding his face "you tripped and were knocked out" he answered.

"I'm glad you're okay" Kira said, hugging Sapphire.

Scott looked into the distance confusing the two girls

"What?" Kira asked.

"I can hear the music from the house" he replied.

Sapphire grew curious "what are they playing?".

"Electronic" he told them.

"I wish they still played slow songs at parties. At my old school we used to have at least a few" Kira explained.

"Why do you like the slow ones?" Scott asked her.

"I was always better at slow dancing" she shrugged.

Scott chuckled before the two of them looked at each other.

"Come here" he said, standing up and walking towards the moonlight Kira followed swiftly.

Sapphire pulled out her phone not wanting to interpret their moment. She scrolled through her gallery looking at all the pictures she had of her and the others.

She stopped when she reached her favourite photo. It was a photo she took of her and her mom before she passed. The two were on her moms hospital bed hugging and smiling towards the camera.

She put her phone away when she heard a faint growling. Liam was starting to wake up, his eyes were glowing a bright yellow and you could see his sharp fangs and claws.

"Will those chains hold him?" Kira asked frantically.

"Uh. yea I think. Definitely. He can't be that strong" Scott said, not sounding confident.

Within a few seconds Liam broke out of the chains with no struggle. He lept towards Sapphire pushing her down as he sliced his claws through her leg. She yelled in pain as blood poured from the fresh wound.

Liam then charged at Scott and Kira as they jumped out of the way he smashed through the window. Running deep into the forest.

Scott looked into the wood to try and spot him while Kira ran towards Sapphire kneeling beside the girl.

"Scott she's hurt" Kira yelled.

Scott ran towards them looking down seeing a pool of blood on the floor "I- I need to catch Liam. If he hurts anyone else-".

"Just go, I'll be fine!" Sapphire yelled as Scott nodded at her and took off to find the young beta.

Kira helped Sapphire back to the house in search of Lydia.

"Lydia? Has anyone seen Lydia?" she asked through the crowd of high schoolers.

The two made their way to the stairs slowly walking up them. Sapphire was cursing at herself for letting this happen to her.

They made it to the end of the hall quickly opening the door seeing Lydia in front of a music player.

"Hey Lydia, are you okay?" Kira asked as she helped Sapphire to a chair.

When Lydia didn't respond Kira made her way towards the girl looking at the music player "what do you hear?" she asked.

"The key. The key to break the code" was all she responded with.

Kira took a closer look at Lydia's laptop as she watched Lydia type in the key word.

'Allison' it read.

Lydia hit enter and all the names of every supernatural person came onto the screen with a number.

They took a closer look to read all the names.

Lydia Martin 20

Scott McCall 25

Derek Hale 15

Kira Yukimura 6

"What is this?" Kira asked.

"It's the list of supernaturals in Beacon hills. It's a dead pool".

"And we're all on it".
