Chapter 6. Diamonds In Rain

If she had been blatantly cheated on she would have left them sooner.

For the few days, two weeks in total...after what was seen she thought they would be out of that mess.

But no. Infact they were with them even more avidly.

At most band hangouts. The caravan only twice. But still.

Mason had been slated off a second time. He was getting tired of them.

Today was a day like no other. Honestly she didn't care as much as they were talking over the phone alot recently but not completely fine.

Her dorm had caught fire. A tad awkward.

So she was stuck at Natasha's.

And at Natasha was relationships she didnt want to hear about.

It never seemed to go farther than kissing but still.

Pain to watch.

"Nat I really have to go I have the meeting with Hicks. Il see you at mine later."

They had got of their lap.

"Alright Averyy. Dont completely kill her."

Avery got all her stuff. Quickly.

"I won't rest assured.  Also bye Eve!"

Ok great she wasnt being ignored.

The door shut after they had gotten three kisses..

"Hey Yvonne can you help with something instead of sleeping. Also dont act miserable go get a girlfriend of your own. "

She got up after a horrid moment of tiredness.

"No one wants to date me Natasha i dont think I can do very much."

They laughed at that..just slightly.

And didn't respond to her.

She sat on the bed.

But at a distance.

"Well what is so important nat."

"Remember when we actually half got along and you force painted my nails? Can you do that again. I'm very bored."

.

They pointed at the exact same ones that didn't,..change.

"Are you really that bored. Sure not like I'm doing anything either."

.... .

The next minutes of silence.. felt like a whole day.

They seemed substantially less on guard fortunately so she wasnt  getting a death stare.

But they were to calm she wanted to ruin the mood.

"You know Avery knows right."

They went like,.stiff.

"What? What does she know that I know."

They seemed suddenly ALARMED.

"What's going on with Mason."

..

They were no longer calm.
