She turned over on her bed and kept drawing in the colouring book.
The door opened exactly three minutes later.

She liked them as a friend.
"Hey Eva."
"Hey Avery. What's up?"
They were...near scratching their arms.
With that same thing she gave them a summer ago.

Wait.Was she left with because they were having a bad reaction and they couldn't deal with it.
"What happened?"

They took off the cardigan.
... To reveal the most horrific scars. And near burns.
"Mum tried to wash my arm with sea water. Didn't really help." They scratched it.
"So we again have to go to a paramedic. IL walk you there or whatever. It's not far."
They had their shoes on already so she just had to get the keys.
"Sorry Eva. Mum just can't deal the allergies i-"
"Don't worry it's not your fault. Come on let's go already."
The walk was quick.
She knocked on the door.
"Evalina?"
The lady inside called.
Oh she knew them.
The door opened.
It was her aunt.
"Oh Avery it happened again?"

"Yeah was an accident.." they mumbled.
"Honey that looks bad. You should get it checked out."
