Chapter 16. Violet Ferns

Summer was actually fairly fun for the next week.

Sitting on some bench talking with Yvonne and occasionally Natasha.

Confession had not been said yet.

Today it was fortunately just Yvonne. They were doing fairly well. Them and Celine were half dating... and nothing had been entirely awkward.

The kiss had been forgotten about entirely.

"Yvonne remind me what colour my nails were they are practically cracked already."

She was really in a conundrum here. Yvonne was the least available person currently and she was far too available.

"Purple."

"Oh right I remember now."

They were still from every couple seconds looking at her even while Celine was right next to them.

She forgot to mention that. Liana was ruining the mood only Nadia who was smoking in the beach hut of their boyfriend was by their side frequently.

The same Nadia who run the council. They didnt have to know everything.

"Celine could you get me the berry cooler that isnt full of sugar my throat still is stuck with that liquor from yesterday."

"Sure. Avery you want anything?"

Celine got up.

"Il have the caramel latte."

She had in looking up messed her thumb nail.

"Alright just a moment."

Summer of her (WORST) nightmares.

Her sister was watching their favourite film. She didnt remember much about that. It had some impression on Yvonnes younger sister aswell loved the film and the lead actor.

Her parents were over. Odviously.

Involved dance ever so slightly. Moving on who cares? she didnt.

..

It was ten minutes into the film. Patience was non existent.

Also it was very silent.

"I dont get it why does she want to dance with anyone but her family?  Its tradition." Her mum groaned.

"Mum it's more interesting. And free. You wouldn't understand you married dad after a month of knowing him." Hannah shrugged. Half laughing.

Although backpedalling quickly as mum looked livid..

They looked at her for a moment. She wasnt laughing but only because Yvonne and her were having a starring contest and the movie was boring.

"MOM hannah stole mY POLLY DOLL!"

Ruby threw a pillow at Hannah.

They laughed and threw one back.

"MISSY SIT BACK DOWN RIGHT NOW."

Mum screeched.

It did very little.

The glass door opened.

Scarlet was on the phone.  Looked worried.

"Ruby honey?"

They turned around...not worrying if they were in trouble.
