She always hated council meetings.

Oh the talk of Harriet.

Little council spy had told a few and everyone was in shit.

Skylar really wasnt doing well.

"Are you sure we can air the most liked council member missing? It will say alot on us for not commenting on it so soon."

Alot of hums of agreement....

Great.

"We work alot Halvin it can be excused." Celine said.

Just slightly dismissively.

Nadia looked at Celine with ... suprise.

"Richmond we also are ment to be good role models in time of harm. Harriet being missing is a bigger issue we cant solve. The headteacher told me that is is down to two people of my choice. Then police informed and investigation in the works. Authorised."

They put down the pen they were holding.

..

"Why cant we just do it straight away? And call them?"
They whined.

"Can't do Jones. Needs authorising but its nearer possible for us to get something done."

It went silent.

"Hanlin and Kindred you decide you were the closest. Richmond is a tad biased although I do trust you in anything else."

Skylar was as mentioned not doing well. Indecisive.. ...

But they were still no less moody.

"I- you know I Avery you go ahead I cannot."

Ohhhhh.

All attention was on her.

Even greater....

AND she already had a decision.

"I know that it's a really really important case and my friend being missing is horrific. On the other hand I think Skylar wouldn't want to get bombarded with people who didn't know Harriet.. assumptions can go really far. Our .reputation to say is bad enough. We can't seem anymore that cultish or elitist. I think we just give it a month."

The look that Amorie gave her was bad. Ruby seemed skeptical but...understanding.

Celine was kicking her slightly under the table..

"Yeah that's fine I really dont have time for questions I dont even know. Also she could come back at any point."

Nadia seemed completely fine. Positive almost.

"So give it a month?"

Murmurs of agreement followed.

"Alright then its decided. We give it a month but il inform Casey about it she can do backup work before hand. But il tell the headmaster about the decision. Although if I get to more than six complaints we may have to reconsider."

Amorie looked very unpleased.

"That ends the meeting then. Have a good evening everyone."

Everyone left pretty quickly.

She and Celine left last.
