Sylvia.
NOTE TO DEDICATION: I FELT LIKE DEDICATING THIS TO YOU SINCE, YOU'VE READ AND COMMENTED LOVELY COMMENTS ON MOST OF ALL THE POEMS. WELL NOT REALLY ALL. BUT YEAHH... :)
I vow thee to the dismal maiden,
I would come back for her.
Foreseeing myself with my armor on,
but overlooking my death had now accure.
Savagely swinging my sword at my side,
taking every little sweat and blood in me.
Strongly I grip the shield across my chest,
and thought of my maiden's beauty.
Her Long, Pale-white hair falls on her stomach,
the white rose reflects her honey-hazel eyes.
Her lips tastes like wine on my lips,
Oh How the other men will despise.
Disasters upon Disasters fall on my feet,
scarlet and crimson blood covers me.
The war has been ranging over weeks,
but I still stand strong for my dear lady.
Thousands may fall on my sword,
thousands may try to put me to death.
Thousands of women may catch my glimpse,
but my dear Sylvia still owns my heart.
Every night I would look up at the sky,
thinking of her and only her.
I could imagine my Sylvia looking up as well,
and thinking of me for sure.
After a Month of raging wars,
the King has celebrated our victory.
Welcoming all the Heroes,
and praying too for the lost souls bravery.
I was Happy to meet my love again,
my heart skipped a beat or two.
Jolly to hear her voice again,
Overlapping with joy, yet nervous.
From a distance I saw my Sylvia's figure,
facing her back at me.
She turned around with those sorrowful eyes,
she wasn't at all so Glee.
"My Dear Sylvia please come and rest in my arms,' I said,
Then she sadly looked away and wept.
I came closer to her reach,
but she drew far away from my distance.
and then I heard a sudden preach:
"Bless the souls who have been captured and blessed are they as they enter the kingdom of heaven."
I followed to where this preaching was,
a crowd of people had gathered in the city Hall.
Weeping and Mourning were they,
And saw Lord Malkam at last.
I approached him and he had pity in his eyes,
asked him where Sylvia is.
He replied with an unknown tone,
said she was captured and killed.
My eyes burned with fury and tears,
my world came crumbling down.
I vowed to her that I would come back,
and here am I, weeping now.
