This chapter is supposed to be published in February 9th next Thursday. But due to one single event made me change my mind. As it is... MY BIRTHDAY! YES! NOW, PRAISE ME, TELL ME I AM A GOOD BOY, SIT ON ME AND SHIT!

I am now 17 y/o! Just a year away from being able to feel all the goodies! But knowing fate, the possibility of me not making it from all kinds of indirect/direct circumstances scares me cause i might die a virgin, so please, let us all hope i made it there before death knocks on my door.

Or at least let me finish this fic before i kick the bucket. I know some people who would bring me back from death and then murder me again because i didn't finish this shit... now that would suck ass...

Anyways, please enjoy!

Feel free to add reviews and let me know what you think!

As I've explained in the last chapter, Academy City is a city where 80% of its population is still a minority, aka underaged students, making the city the largest Academic based city in the world, which is true to its name.

There people are taught to experiment alongside certified Scientists and 1-in-a-million year prodigies. Which, not only resulted in the city having the highest Intelligent standards in the entire world, but also its technological advancements.

4 of the most extraordinary campuses in the world are also located in this very city with only less than a 5% chance of being enrolled. Some though have a few requirements that need to be passed for you to be qualified before you're considered as a potential candidate of said school.

For example, Tokiwadai Junior High, a legendary campus reserved only for girls, specifically ranked above average within the pyramid scheme of the city.

Now imagine this. You're a student of Tokiwadai and then you're having a physics class where your teacher teaches and expects you to learn a subject that has yet to be cracked. For exactly 70 years.

7 decades of no decisive answer...

This of course, has a certain chestnut coloured haired girl's brain racking for answers. An answer she has yet to crack as well. But she will. Eventually, that is.

"In mathematical physics, Yang-Mills theory is a gauge theory based on a special unitary group SU(N), or more generally any compact, reductive Lie algebra."

"Yang-Mills theory seeks to describe the behaviour of elementary particles using these non-abelian Lie groups and is at the core of the unification of the electromagnetic force and weak forces."

The teacher turned towards the board, took out a chalk from a box and began writing a simple formula for all to see.

'(U(1) × SU(2))'

"As well as quantum chromodynamics, the theory of the strong force. Thus it forms the basis of our understanding of the Standard Model of particle physics."

"A method of quantizing the Yang-Mills theory is by functional methods, path integrals. One introduces a generating function for n-point functions as."

'Z[j] = integral [dA] exp [ - i/2 integral d^4 x Tr(F^μv Fμv) + i integral d^4 x jα μ (x) A^αμ (x)]'

"But this integral has no meaning as it is because the potential vector can be arbitrarily chosen due to the gauge freedom. This problem was already known for quantum electrodynamics but here it becomes more severe due to non-abelian properties of the gauge group."
