"It's a beautiful day," Lily looked at the sky and her surrounding, the sun was coming and going, the light breeze was refreshening. They were sitting in the frontyard of their house, butterflies were flying over the flowers.
James rested his chin on top of her head and closed his eyes while he hummed in agreement. Thne he began singing.
"I know your eyes in the morning sun
I feel you touch me in the pouring rain
And the moment that you wander far from me
I wanna feel you in my arms again"Then Lily joined him too, they began singing together.
"How deep is your love,
How deep is your love
I really mean to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me."Lily tilted her head back and met James' lips with hers. James wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her in his lap and began kissing her passionately. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer.
His hands slid under her top and she moaned in his mouth, someone cleared their throat and they jumped apart to see the short old lady shaking her head at them disapprovingly as she passed across their house and muttering something that sounded as, 'couples these days.'
"We should have seen where we are," James snorted.
"We have rather grown very careless," giggled Lily.
"The mood's spoiled isn't it?" sighed James and Lily nodded.
"We'll make it again soon, we are rather good at it, aren't we," she nudged him playfully with her shoulder, James kissed her chuckling.
"We'll start the moment we go in the house," James tugged her earlobes.
They sat in silence just enjoying the nature and each other's closeness.
"Is keeping Rabastan locked in the basement safe? What if the Lestranges come hunting for him and somehow reach to you," she said worriedly.
"Don't worry, I have made sure that they believe that Rabastan has found some chick and enjoying some time off with her, I found out that he's quite famous for it and for getting drink and lost," James smirked.
"Still James that's illegal, keeping him as a prisoner?"LIly looked at him. "If he escapes or dies then? Then what will you do?"
"You worry too much, Lily,"
"We are already in a war and you're bringing extra trouble on yourself," Lily retorted. "How can't I be worried?"
"I am trying to finish this war, so that we can live without worrying,"
"By taking extra risks? By jumping in Death's mouth without thinking?"
"Lily, it will all be okay in the end," James assured her. "People are dying everyday, we have to do our best, do everything that's possible to win this war or we all will be doomed."
Lily buried her face in her arms, "Our chances are very very slim."
"We'll win, Lily, light always defeats dark," James hugged her.
"I hope so," Lily buried her face in the crook of his neck and held him tightly.
"I think we should get a TV,"
Lily looked at him grinning widely, "I wanted to say that for a long long time."
"Then why you didn't tell me or brought it?"
Lily shrugged, "With the war and all these expenses, I wasn't sure that it would be a good idea or not."
"We have enough money, Lils to last us for seven years or more," James replied. "We can still sell some useless expensive things that is locked in the manor."
