A boy in his early 20s entered the Leaky Cauldron, there were purple bags under his eyes, he walked up to the innkeeper, Tom.
"Sir, I am looking for a job here, any job will do," said the boy, the barman looked at the boy.
"And you are?" asked Tom.
"Jack Wright," answered the boy.
"Half-blood?"
"Yes,"
"Where are your parents?"
"I am a Wright, my parents, Williams and Claire died last week,"
"Death Eaters attack?"
"Yes, I luckily was out of the house,"
"That's common, people dying, looking for a house, so what work do you want to do?"
"Any work will or barman would do,"
"You can work as a sweeper here, though I ain't providing shelter," said Tom.
"I will rent a room, my parents have left me some money," said Jack.
"You might want to save money,"
"I want to work, later my cousin will offer me some work in France,"
"Very well, these are the keys, you will have to clean this area in every 2 hours, I will pay two galleons a week,"
"Thanks," said Jack taking the keys, he got to his room and locked it, and then put all his things in proper places.
The night was arriving, Jack left the bar, wearing a big cloak that covered his face, walked into a silent place and then disapparated, he appeared in front of a damaged building, after scanning the street he walked into the ruins, there was nothing, the building has been burnt by the looks of it and it was burn using magic.
Jack disapparated again appearing in Diagon Alley this time, he walked into the night towards the Knockturn Alley, there was a pub in there, it was a shabby place with poor lightning, and about 10 people were in there, he recognized two faces, he walked up to the bar and ordered a drink, sat in a dark corner and started sipping his drink and listening to the people around him.
"We will get control soon," said a man.
"Not till those Aurors and order members are stuck up in our arse," said another man.
"The Dark Lord believes that the Aurors will be soon under his control,"
"The ministry has been infiltrated, yes, but not taken over, the minister is hiding behind Dumbledore,"
"And did you hear about the prophecy, about the dark lord? Do you believe someone will be able to defeat him?"
"The dark lord is looking for such a person, and he will award to whoever finds that person though at this time no one has any clue who it is."
