36.THE HEIST AT MALFOY MANOR

A/N: I am bad at writing Heists, I will probably update this chapter later to make it more interesting without changing the main parts, do share your ideas if you have any. 

"You and Wormy are lucky to win those tickets. You should have told me and Moony too, then we might have won as well," exclaimed Sirius as James stood by the fireplace to floo to Peter's house.

"We entered in it for fun, we didn't expect to win. Anyway see you soon," said James trying to keep his smile at its place before entering the fireplace.

"There you are, Dum-, I mean the driver will be here soon," said Peter, his mother behind him, she got up and greeted James. Mr Pettigrew too arrived in the room and greeted James happily, he always admired James for his quidditch skills, he was excellent at quidditch analytics just like Peter.

"Nice seeing you too, Mr and Mrs Pettigrew," said James hugging them.

"Bye mum and dad, I will see you soon," said Peter and he and James exited the house. "Shit, Prongs I am very nervous."

"Me too, Wormy. But, I have something for us. . .  the lucky potion, take a mouthful it will last till our work," and he gave him the small bottle, which Peter took a mouthful, James then did the same. Soon, a Pontiac Grand AM car stopped in front of them and a suited man, with a white beard and glasses beamed at them and signalled them to sit inside.

"You are cool, Professor," exclaimed James.

"I know that," winked Albus as the car took off and was soon in the air, Pete and James gasped. The driver's seat rotated 180 so, Albus was facing them, they go through the plan one more time.

"Here, Professor, it's Felix Felicis, you should drink it, for luck," said James offering him the bottle.

"I don't rely on luck that much, my luck, is flying outside, Fawkes," said Albus. "And now the thing we are looking for is a diary, a very important diary."

"Just a diary?" asked James and Peter shocked.

"It belongs to Voldemort, he has asked to protect it, so it must be and it is important, we need it, it might be the key to defeating him." The others two nodded.

The three of them stood at a great distance from the manor looking at it.

"There's an anti-intruder jinx around the place," said Dumbledore.

"Wormy, transform and go, you will not be affected, then once inside remove the jinx, and return here," commanded James. Peter transformed into a rat and after 20 minutes he returned and turned back to Peter. Dumbledore examined again and then smiled.

"The jinx has been removed, well done Peter," said Dumbledore. 

 "There are about 4 people in the entrance area, but they all had drinks in their hands and were laughing and talking," reported Pete.

They all under the disillusionment charm entered the manor, and after finding an empty space, they stopped.

"Peter, time for plan two, take help of smell to go there and cause some mayhem," said James, Peter grinned before turning into an invisible rat, and started moving, after 10 minutes he reached the kitchens, there was a house elf, crying and cleaning the utensils.

"Dobby, is a bad house elf, Dobby's master hit him, soup cold, Master bad. . . . no bad Dobby, he insulted his master, Dobby bad," he was saying and hitting his head on the wall. 

Pete moved behind a shelf and transformed into a boy, slowly he took out his wand flicked it several times, and then instantly turned back into a rat, the moment he exited the kitchen, several utensils started falling on the grounds making more noise than usual, foods were all lifted in the air and thrown around the room, the table started jumping and making defeating noise. Many people rushed towards the kitchen as Pete made his way into a pipe and towards the next location, he could hear the people shouting at Dobby, he felt bad for him but was relieved that Dobby was there otherwise it would have looked suspicious.
