"Hot damn." Carter says the moment I walk out of the washrooms. "Girl, you looking hella fine."
I look down modestly and feel my cheeks blush.
"Can't say the same about you unfortunately." I tease him back. "We need to get you some different clothes, especially if you plan on seducing Hughes."
"Damn, ya know I don't plan on making a move. He's obviously too into Haruka to notice me."
"Is it really that obvious? I didn't exactly know that Hughes is totally into Haruka." I question Carter's judgement.
"It's a guy thing, you girls wouldn't understand." Carter laughs at me and starts to walk away. "I wanna go to American Eagle."
Quickly I run after Carter to catch up to him. But instead of going to the direction of American Eagle he heads off into the direction of the arcades and anime merch stores.
"Dude, this isn't the way." I tell him.
"I know." he replies with a small cute smile.
I can't help but smile back at him.
