GRACE LETS OUT A FRUSTRATED SIGH AS SHE WASN'T ABLE TO GET THE ZIP OF HER DRESS ALL THE WAY UP. It was the funeral for Kieran today, well the one inside the church. Tomorrow was when they walked with the casket to the cemetery. She was trying to put her dress on but it didn't seem to want to work for her. She rolls her eyes, letting the zipper go. Her dress was half on, it was just the upper back that was exposed.

Walking towards her door, she decided to try and find someone to help her. Luckily, right as she opened her door, Klaus was standing there with his fist raised. They stare at each other for a moment before she raises an eyebrow at him. "And why are you right outside my door?" Grace asks curiously as it seemed to be a running pattern now. Klaus just smiles back at her, holding up the gift bag in his hand.

"Happy birthday, love." Klaus says softly and Grace just moves her gaze to the gift in his hand. She did not need to be spoiled by this man, especially since he would definitely take it as an invitation to try and become closer to her.

"Did you seriously buy me another gift?" Grace asks as she tilts her head, gesturing towards it. Klaus glances down, realizing that it did look that way but he shakes his head.

"No, this is from Jenna. She instructed me of giving it to you this morning." He tells her and Grace nods her head, taking the gift from him before making her way to her table to place it down.

"Thank you." She says as she turns back to him, seeing him walk towards her. Klaus stops in front of her, tilting his head as he leans closer to her. Grace watches him closely, noticing his hand go to her waist.

"But I could give you a different kind of gift, if you'd like." Klaus suggests with a smirk as he pulls her against him. Grace raises her eyebrows as it was obvious what he was referring to.

"Mm, how about no?" Grace replies as she pushes him back, crossing her arms against her lips. Klaus chuckles, he had least had to try. "Today isn't exactly a happy day." She points out as she sighs, leaning against her bed.

"I know Kieran's funeral is today but you can still celebrate." Klaus points out as no one expected her to miss her birthday just because there was a funeral. Two things could happen on the same day. But Grace only shook her head yet again.

"I don't celebrate." She states firmly as she was never really a, party for her birthday kind of girl. Even when she was forced to go, she didn't enjoy herself.
