GRACE HADN'T GONE TO SLEEP LIKE SHE TOLD ELIJAH. She just didn't feel like having company. So, she just sat on her bed, staring up at the ceiling as she just let her mind be blank. Well, it was blank before someone decided to knock on her door. She rolls her eyes as she glanced over, seeing Klaus standing there. "Have you come to annoy me yet again?" She asks with a sigh as she sits back against her pillows.
"No, I came to see if I could get any information out of you since you're almost a bottle in." Klaus teases as he walks into her bedroom. Grace only rolls her eyes playfully as she rests her head back. "Aren't you supposed to be asleep, love?" He asks as he swore he heard her telling Elijah that she wanted to go to bed.
"I just didn't want Elijah to bother me again." Grace admits and she saw Klaus smile, chuckling lightly. "You really don't take no for an answer, do you?" She asks curiously as she squints her eyes at him.
"Oh, come on love. I told you a bit about my past, it's only courteous for you to do the same." Klaus tells her and she only scoffs, crossing her arms against her chest.
"I never asked you to tell me about your life." She points out, never once had she asked for his life story. He just decided to be annoying and give it to her anyways.
"I insisted." Klaus replies.
"You shouldn't have." Grace retorts with an annoyed sigh.
"Now, you know that wine never goes good with keeping secrets in." He says as he crosses his arms against his chest, leaning against the bed.
"And how do you know I have any secrets to tell?" Grace teases as she raises an eyebrow at him, smirking lightly. But it dropped when he opened his mouth to speak.
"Because I can see a broken soul when I look at you." Klaus admits as he sits beside her on the bed. Grace doesn't say anything, just keeping her mouth closed as she really didn't know what to respond with. "The scars, the fact that you try to never show fear, how you are so protective over Hayley if someone so much as touches her." He points out as he tilts his head, watching as her eyes looking in a million different places. Her jaw clenches as she felt herself breathe a little heavier.
