fOLLOWING ELIJAH AND KLAUS INTO THE COMPOUND, Grace just listens to them talking about the multiple vampires who had come into town for the prophecy. "So, my first sire wants to kill you. Yours wants to kill me. Makes you regret turning any vampires in the first place." Klaus states with a scoff as he looks toward his brother. It was clear that they had to be wary of them all, especially since they've done something to all of them in the past.

"It makes things crystal clear. Two of them, two of us--" Elijah stops himself as they see a dead woman laid out on some lavender and leaves with a note in her hand. Klaus glances toward Grace, holding his hand out in front of her in order to stop her from going closer. He walks closer, picking up the note, an immediate glare setting in his eyes. He passes it to Elijah who reads it as well. "Roses are red, lavenders are blue... come find me before I find you."  He says, a sigh leaving his lips.

"Let me guess. Aurora?" Grace asks, raising an eyebrow at them. It wasn't a big stretch since she was the only one who would need to announce her arrival. But Klaus could hear the slight pep in her tone, making him glance toward her.

"Don't sound so enthusiastic about it, love. She'll probably want to kill you once she finds out about our engagement." Klaus tells her, shaking his head.  Grace just tilted her head, crossing her arms as she knew he was overprotective of her but sometimes it was too much.

"Stop worrying about me, Nik." She pleads as she gazes up at the man. "If anything, I'd be more scared of Lucien than your ex-girlfriend." Grace points out, scowling as she says Lucien's name. Klaus also got a hint of anger in his eyes. It was clear that he wasn't really much of his friend anymore, especially with him laying his hands on Grace.

"I remember her a better poet," Klaus admits as he looks at the letter again before simply placing it back on the table.

"I wouldn't say that this is lacking in poetry." Elijah denies as he looks at the body before glancing toward his brother.

"She wants us to find her, so let's," Klaus says as he goes to turn and head out of the compound but Elijah stops him, clearly wanting him to think it through a little bit.

"You're so eager, Niklaus." Elijah points out which only makes Klaus clench his jaw, looking toward Grace for a second. "The last time you even said her name was a thousand years ago when you told me never to speak it again in your presence." He states, raising his eyebrows.

"So, I am to wait until she leaves her little calling cards all over my home?" Klaus asks as he gestures around the courtyard of the compound. Elijah looks down at the ground for a moment, contemplating in his mind.
