Andie and Zoe are back in their cell block as they get a few things together to take with them on the run. Andie's giving her new friend a hard time, teasing her about a boy that just came into the camp last month. Zoe likes him, and Andie thinks he likes her too. But Zoe's the shy type.
"Let's see if we can scrounge up tall, dark, and handsome to help us out today." Andie smiles as she backs out of Zoe's cell. "Hey—" She slams into someone as she spins around, and they reach out to grab her waist to quickly steady her before she can stumble backward. "Daryl." Her cheeks warm up, slightly embarrassed as she looks up into his bright blue eyes.
"And here I thought you were more coordinated than that." He says as he looks down at her, and she offers him a small smile.
"Most days."
"And we have contact." Merle's voice gets their attention, and they both look up at him as he leans over the railing on the second floor. "There's a good sign." He says as his brother takes a step back.
"We're not taking him with us on the supply run, are we?" Andie asks as she looks back at Daryl, and he shakes his head.
"No."
"Good." She says, and he turns around and walks up the stairs to get to his cell. "Right..." The brunette takes a deep breath as she starts out of the cell block, headed to find Theo.
Soon enough, just about everyone who's going on the run is outside by the cars, preparing to leave the prison.
"Like a damn romance novel." Daryl says as he looks between Beth and Zach. The blonde isn't going with them, but the boy she's been dating is.
"Ow! Bitch." Theo gets their attention as Andie shoves him toward the truck. "Man, why do I always have to go?"
"You know why." She tells him, her voice hushed.
"You know, you used to like me once." He says as he turns to look at her. "I can remind you why."
"I was ignorant, and blind...and stupid."
"And now you're just mean." Theo smiles as he steps closer to her, reaching up to brush her hair away from her eyes. "It's kinda sexy."
"And now you're the prison whore." She puts her hand on his face and shoves him backward.
"Come on, gorgeous, this could be our last chance!" Theo calls after her. "We could die on this run!"
"I'd rather." Andie says, walking past Daryl to get to the rest of the team they're taking with them to check out the store.
