The others are all sitting on the porch when Andie walks out of the house. She leans against the wall by the door, enjoying the quiet night around them. It's quiet as long as she doesn't listen too hard, that is.

None of them have brought up what happened earlier between her and Daryl, not even Theo will touch that one. He likes getting under her skin, getting a rise out of her, but he's not looking to start a real fight with the brunette. He knows he'd lose.

"I get why my dad stopped drinking." Beth breaks the silence from where she's sitting on the steps across from Daryl.

"You feel sick?"

"No." Her eyes are on the trees behind him. "I wish I could feel like this all the time."

"No, you don't." Theo shakes his head, and she looks over at him. "Feeling things is what makes us human. The fear gets us through the shit around us, keeps us going... It's what separates us from them."

"She's lucky she's a happy drunk." Daryl says.

"Yeah, I'm lucky." The blonde agrees. "Some people can be real jerks when they drink."

"Yeah, I'm a dick when I'm drunk." He tells her, and Andie sits down without a word, her back against the house as she looks over at Luna and Merle.

"You okay?" Zoe whispers as she kneels beside them, moving the little ones bangs away from her eyes, and Luna nods. Merle's asleep next to her, his back against the wall as she leans on his arm.

"Merle had this dealer, this janky little white guy. A tweaker." Daryl starts. "One day we were over at his house watching tv. Wasn't even noon yet and we were all wasted. Merle was high. We were watching this show, and Merle was talking all this dumb stuff about it. And he wouldn't let up; Merle never could. Turns out it was the tweaker's kids' favorite show. And he never sees his kids so he felt guilty about it or something. So, he punches Merle in the face. So, I started hitting the tweaker, like, hard. As hard as I can. Then he pulls a gun, sticks it right here." He holds his fingers to his temple. "He says, I'm gonna kill you, bitch. So, Merle pulls his gun on him. Everyone's yelling. I'm yelling... I thought I was dead. Over a dumb cartoon about a talking dog."

"How'd you get out of it?" Beth asks, and he glances over at Andie, but she's not looking at them.

"The tweaker punched me in the gut. I puked. They both started laughing and forgot all about it." He tells them. "You wanna know what I was before all this? I was just driftin' around with Merle, doing whatever he said we were gonna be doing that day. I was nobody. Nothing. Some redneck asshole and an even bigger asshole for a brother."
