"Sunstreaker!"
My hands gripped the cool metal of the bars. His alt-mode was parked in the center of the cell, covered in scratches and shadows. "What did you do?" A gasp left her mouth when his holoform appeared. Just as battered as the rest of him, but his leg. "What did you do!" I typed the code and stormed in. "Your father," he growled through gritted teeth. "He shot you!" His hand clamped around my wrist, pulling me closer. "Skye, he's not much better, I'm afraid." I cupped his cheek with my free hand. "Technically, your brother shot me from behind." I looked down at his thigh. "Asshole! Why did you go after him!" I snapped. "Because I was angry for laying a finger on you."
I pulled him in a tight embrace. "When can you come out?" My voice was muffled, but he heard me. "Soon. Hopefully." His arms locked around me. It was so comforting that I considered staying with him until he was released. "Let me see your leg." My fingers fumbled for his belt. "I bet you're eager to see me." I rolled my eyes while he took over, sliding his pants down in one movement. His leg was slick with blood, and it was still going. I crouched before him, my hand resting on the outer side of his muscled thigh. The bullet had gone straight through. It didn't seem to have hit any bone; definitely a muscle. The Energon would no doubt fasten the healing process but considering his vanity, I had to get him stitched up to minimize the scar.
I looked up to him. "I'll have to stitch you up." I got back up and pushed him down on the hood of his alt-mode. "I like it when you're bossy." His eyes didn't have their usual sparkle, and his face was ashen. He was in pain. I cupped his jaw and pressed a kiss to his temple. "Don't do this ever again, Sunny. Promise me you won't. You're getting yourself into trouble, and I know why you did it. I know this reminds you of what happened to you..." the wry smile on his face faltered. "I don't want you to get hurt because of me. Or in trouble. You don't belong here." He rested his head against my chest.
My hand ran softly over his scalp, through the silken blonde strands. "I'm going to get some things and painkillers." He looked up through thick lashes. "I won't go anywhere." After another kiss to his temple, I aimed for the entrance and left.
I didn't get far, or I was tackled in the hallway by my brother. I had no time to register what he was doing before his fist connected with my jaw, and he had me flying against the wall. I let out a cry, and it was cut off short by his feet pressing on my throat. I was frozen in fear, staring at him through blurred eyes. "You little rat!" He removed his boot and hoisted me up. "Your low-born bastard beat our father into the medbay! Is that what you wanted?"
I couldn't reply. I am afraid to respond, too. "Let her go!" Sideswipe's voice boomed through the air. My brother let go and snarled at the Autobot behind me. "Don't you ducking dare to touch again!" He bared his teeth. "We are not done talking yet, Skye." He pushed me back, right into Sideswipe's chest. He merely grabbed my waist, holding me.
I savored his warmth. His scent. Sideswipe glared in my brother's general direction before looking down at me. "Are you okay?" I nodded slowly, rubbing my sore throat. "Y-yes. I'm fine. Fine." I pushed away and straightened my uniform. "I have to get to the medbay."
"You don't have to see your father, Skye." I shook my head. "Your brother needs stitches for his leg. He's still bleeding and in pain." Sideswipe brows dipped in a frown. "I thought Ratchet already visited him." I shook my head. "No." He gestured at the hallway. "Let me walk you."We didn't speak until we cornered and pushed through the double doors. "Did you really let him touch you?" From everything he could've asked or said, he decided to go down that road? I turned my head, not impressed. "Yes, and he's good. You'd like me to share the details with you, too?" His mouth opened, but nothing came out. "Exactly. Shall we focus on stitching your brother back together instead?" He nodded and walked ahead.
He wouldn't drop it, though. Sideswipe would definitely want a full report later, which I won't give him. What Sunny and I do behind closed doors is our matter. Not to mention that the way he made me feel, made me feel like I was worth something.
Sideswipe looked through some cabinets and grabbed some supplies. When I returned, Sunstreaker was still sitting on his hood, patiently waiting for a change. He cocked a brow looking at my throat. "Don't mention it." I knelt before him and saw the smirk curving his lips. "Sunny." He hummed.
Sideswipe crossed his arms, nostrils flaring. I might have teased him if Sideswipe wasn't here watching us. I got to work and began cleaning the wound and giving him pain relief, all under Sideswipe's watchful eye. I looked up at Sunny through thick lashes. There was heat in his eyes; he obviously liked having me on my knees before him.
Sideswipe cleared his throat. "I thought Ratchet would've visited you by now." Sunstreaker shrugged casually. "He didn't."
"You haven't actually declined his help, so I can do it, right? You wouldn't be that foolish?" Sideswipe let out a string of colorful curses while Sunstreaker cradled my jaw. "I wouldn't dare, sweetheart." I shook my head and wrapped his thigh up. "Sideswipe, I forgot some water to clean up his thigh. Can you get it for me?"Sideswipe looked between us, eyes narrowing. "I'd like to have a chat with my brother in private. Get it yourself." Sunstreaker cut him a glance that was anything but friendly. Sunstreaker's hand ran through my hair and fisted the strands. Then his mouth collided with mine. I dropped what I was holding. Territorial asshole. It wasn't sweet or passionate. It was a claim. Yet, my traitorous body melted into him.
Sunstreaker dragged his tongue over the column of my neck and down where my jaw met my neck. I gasped, and his name slipped from my lips. He released his grip to let pleasure seep in. He pulled back with a satisfied, arrogant grin. "Done claiming?" Sideswipe's had darkened. "I surely did." Sunstreaker clicked his tongue and hummed. My cheeks and neck flushed with embarrassment. "I'm going to get some water." I quickly aimed for the entrance and ignored Sideswipe's glance.
