Waking up, I realized how much I had missed and I hated the feeling of it. I felt even worse than before I went to bed. I bet that's not how I am supposed to feel after an eight hour sleep. I strolled towards the cafeteria and got myself some food. Everyone was already asleep, or at least, most soldiers. I kept replaying Sideswipe's words over and over again. Everyone hated me, but I know that without my schedules, nothing would be running smoothly. I held on onto that thought. I popped some food in my mouth and tried to relax a little bit, but my head was spinning with all the things I still wanted to do. It made my fingers itch. I decided to wake up early tomorrow and execute all the things I have in my mind and get some sleep for now.

The next morning, I was early but decided not to bother Prowl just yet. I headed towards the main hangar and got ignored by soldiers. They just quickly passed, scared I would tackle them for something. I usually always try to ignore it, and blame it on my job, but maybe it really was because of me. 'Look at you...' The taunting voice was familiar. Chase, my brother wrapped his arm around my shoulders, painfully hard and squeezed me against his much taller body. I groaned in discomfort. He shoved me aside, against the railing of the stairs. 'Still weak, I see.' I clenched my jaws and stood at my full height.

'Guess what, bitch. I am going to work here and the fun part, I am going to watch you fail. I'll be in the first row.' He looked at me with that horrible look in his eyes. The look he always gave me when he wanted to hurt me. 'Why? Why do you always need to show up!' I snapped. I knew my brother was better and stronger than I was. He shrugged. 'I thought... why not having some quality time with my little sister,' he sneered. He snitched the papers from my hands. 'Chase! Damn it! Give that back,' I hissed. I tried to snitch it back, but shove me into the ground. I hit my head quite hard against the stairs. Blood started oozing out almost immediately. 'I haven't even been here for an hour and you already showed me again how pathetic you are.' He looked through my papers. 'You and your eternal schedules.'

I got up and snitched it back. Chase shove me one more time against the railing before he walked off. I reached for my head. My hair was drenched in blood. Whether I liked it or not, I was pretty shaken up as well. I couldn't stop trembling. I dove into a meeting room and sat down. He will make my life miserable and spread rumors about me. People will start disliking me even more than they already do. My brother has never really been in the picture, not even when Sideswipe started raising me. I managed to calm myself down a little bit and walked up to the medbay.

I sat down on a medical bed and tried to clean the wound a little bit and stop the bleeding. 'What have you been doing?' Ratchet grabbed two gloves and approached. 'Oh, something stupid,' I muttered. He pushed my hands aside and looked at it. 'That's nasty...' He gestured for me to lay down, which I did. I said nothing while he prepared a few things. 'You look upset, what happened?' he asked. 'I banged my head, that's what happened. Don't tell my dad.'

'That became your standard phrase. Everytime you're here, you ask me that same question. You know I never share information with other people about my patients,; he replied. I knew that was true, but it made me feel better. 'Yeah...' He looked me in the eyes. 'Come on, talk to me. What is going on?' he asked. 'My brother is here... he hates me and he likes mocking me. I always have to battle him to show people I am just as good as he is, or at least... that's what I try. My brother is better than I am and now–' I cut myself off. 'I am sure that's not true. you are just as good.' I didn't reply. I stared at the door and hadn't even noticed the tears welling up and rolling down my cheek until he mentioned it. 'Hey...' he finished stitching and nudged me softly. I reached for my face and wiped the tears away and sat up. 'I have to go. Thank you for stitching.' I jumped up. 'Skye, hold on.' He removed his gloves and threw them away before approaching me and pulling me in a hug.

It was nice to get a hug from someone instead of getting yelled at all the time. Which occasionally happened. He pulled back and wiped the tears off my cheeks. 'You are just as good as everyone else here. Don't let your brother take your spirit, okay?' I nodded. ''You need to smile more, Skye.' I snorted and stepped back. 'I do smile.' He gave me a look. 'Yeah, when?' Memories of the last day returned. 'Yesterday...' I mumbled. 'Go back to what made you smile, you need it.'

I grabbed my papers and left. Before I even considered continuing my day, I headed for my room to wash the blood out. After that, I watched Sunstreaker train from a little distance. As soon as he spotted me, he walked up to me. I felt my day brighten up by an instant. 'Skye.' He flashed me a smile. 'Morning, Sunstreaker.' He lifted my chin. 'What did you do to your head?' I waved my hand to dismiss it. 'I did something stupid,' I mumbled. He took my papers and laid them aside. 'Come here...' he grasped my hand and pulled me against his chest. I closed my eyes and listened to the beat of his spark.

'And you cried.... is it related to what happened to your head?' he asked after a minute of peaceful silence. 'Oh, it's nothing. Forget about it,' I whispered. He didn't reply. It felt nice and secure. To have someone hug me like this. I never got a hug from my dad. Only Sideswipe for so far. 'What is going on here?' I heard Sideswipe's voice behind me and pulled myself away from Sunstreaker. Slightly embarrassed, I grabbed my papers. 'I have to give training, see you later.' I passed him. 'What happened to your head?' Sideswipe grabbed my arm and glanced at it. 'I banged my head.'

He pulled me closer towards him and forced me to sit down on a bench. 'I am glad you got that stitched up...' he muttered. I knew what he referred to. Sometimes I tend to wait for too long. 'And you cried as well, spill the beans or you will be sitting here all day,' he warned, jabbing his finger into my direction. I grunted. 'My brother is here... and now he's going to make my life miserable,' I scolded. 'Chase? Really... I saw him once or twice a year...' Sideswipe muttered, mostly to himself before turning his attention back to me. 'Aren't you overreacting a little bit.' I pointed at my head. 'Does this look like I am overreacting?' I snapped and got up, pushing him aside.

'Just leave me alone.' I waved them off. 'You came here to see me, so don't be mad at me,' Sunstreaker yelled after me. I stopped, glancing at him. 'You want an extra patrol tonight?' He rolled his icy blue eyes. At least I felt slightly better now, although I hated that they knew the truth.
