I strolled through the halls like a headless chicken before bursting into Prowl's office. All I got was a grunt in annoyance. 'It's three in the afternoon, I have an hour.' He looked up, his eyes didn't show much excitement. 'What do you want?' He asked with gritted teeth while tapping his pen on the table. 'I have your papers... sir.' I laid it down and he snitched closer towards him. 'And this is...'
He cut me off. '... let me guess, another schedule,' he snapped. I gave a nod. 'Go. Out of my sight.''With all due respect, sir. I just want to clarify it.' I tried not to be annoying and slowly sat down,— waiting for his consent to continue. 'I think I'll be able to figure it out myself.' He waved his hand. 'I was thinking that maybe—' I cut myself off as I saw the look on his face. 'Everything runs smoothly with the schedules I make. I know people don't like me for it, but they work and I really try to meet people's wishes.'
He snorted. 'That's an understatement. I would say that people hate you for it. At least I do.' I looked down for a brief moment. 'You're here too many times. Seeing your face early in the morning just ruins my day. I don't want to listen to you all the time. You just do what you have to do and damn it just place it on my desk and piss off! I never asked you to clarify anything and if I want an explanation, I will ask for it! The get the frag out of my damn office and make yourself useful in less annoying ways!'
I nodded and got up. 'Yes, sir,' I mumbled quietly. I turned around and walked off. My hands were shaking. Probably because I was so tensed. I gripped the files a little tighter while walking through the halls. I've been giving training since this morning, had a training session with my dad and he completely made me see every corner of the training hall.
That evening, I walked into the cafeteria. Everyone seemed to have fun, eating pizza. Even my brother was sitting with them. Autobots and some soldiers. Chase hadn't even been here for a week. I sat down on my own.
I sat down on my own and stared at my plate. My plate of stuff I don't even like. With sigh, I started eating and listening to the sounds behind me. I jumped a little as I felt a touch on my shoulder. Sunstreaker sat down in front of me. 'You're okay?' I forced a smile on my face to hide the pain. 'Y-yeah... totally.' Sunstreaker eyed me. 'Then why are your eyes watery?' He asked. I swallowed the lump in my throat and looked away for a moment. I shrugged.
'Because they didn't ask you?'
I shrugged. He grasped my hand. 'I know how it feels...' he whispered. 'It's not fair.' He shook his head and pulled his hand back. 'No, it isn't. Especially because you're doing your best. They don't have a reason to make you an outsider.' I brushed a lost tear away and cleared my throat. 'I'm used to it, Sunstreaker. It's been this way since I was born. I was a mistake... he didn't want me. Do you know how that feels if a parent doesn't want you? If you're always disappointing people, get beaten and yelled at? You've no idea what my father did to me when I was younger and Sideswipe wasn't around?'
'I do... because my father was exactly the same.'
I met his gaze. 'I do...' he mumbled and squeezed my hand. 'It hurts.' He nodded. 'Yeah, I know and it will only get worse. He will always find something to shame or hurt you. That are the moments you've to stay strong and doesn't let him get into your heart or break you like my father did.' I took a deep breath. 'Promise?' I nodded and squeezed his hand softly. 'You're doing good. Even people don't knowledge it.' Something warn spread through my body. 'Thank you.' He reached for my face and brush some tears off my cheek before he shove a plate with pizza slices towards me. 'You want to eat pizza with me?' I smiled.
'There's that smile,' he cooed. My smile grew wider and I took a slice. 'Thank you. This means a lot.' He grabbed a slice. 'I know... this is what would've wanted when I felt down back in the days.'
((Sunstreaker's P.O.V))
She was sincerely hurt. Her eyes showed so much pain and sadness. It broke my spark because I can relate. I have Ben in her shoes, still am sometimes. She's sweet and smart. She should get more credit instead of getting constant yelled at. We are in silence, but I saw she enjoyed it. As she finished she got up. 'Thank you, Sunstreaker. I really appreciated this.' She mumbled. 'You're not staying?'
'No, I have work to do,' she mumbled before walking off. Anger rose up. She didn't deserve this.I got up and cleaned the table. The longer I stayed here, the angrier I got. 'Sunstreaker? Can you take my shift?' I came to a stop and turned to Mirage. 'Skye gave you this shift,' I replied icily. 'So? She and her stupid schedules.'
I felt so much anger rising up. 'Sunny.' I glanced at my brother. 'Go, it's not worth it.' It was worth it. I gazed at the group. How could they?Poor Skye. I remember times no one stood up for me. I was boiling. Sideswipe walked up to me. 'Sunstreaker, just go.' I shove him away from me. 'Hurt her feelings again and I'll beat the living hell out of you,' I groused. He took a step back. 'Disgusting!' I growled venously before gazing at Mirage. 'You can rot in hell!' I didn't want to make a fuss with these humans around but I guess I made my point clear. Sideswipe let me pass and I stormed off.
