'This is ridiculous!'

Sideswipe threw his arms in the air. 'I don't make many schedules, but I make this one. This is how I want it.' I exhaled sharply and sat back. 'We are not going to change the whole thing just because your dad isn't satisfied. I make this decision and you've to accept it.' I looked at the piece of paper in front of me, fiddling with a pen in the meantime. 'I am just saying we could change it a little bit. We still have a gap between 1:15 and 1:45.'
'That's my break! I've filled every gap, I tried to put you on training sessions you want to give... I listened to your wishes, okay? But I would like to see my brother. It's not a prison. Maybe you can try to give a little bit more about me too. You've been overloaded in work, you have only slept three hours in the last five days... you're running around like a headless chicken.'

A silence fell. 'I am not. I am just saying—' he cut me off. 'No. This is it, we are not going to change it. It allows you to have some rest in evenings as well... maybe you should get a Tinder account, get a boyfriend or whatever.' He waved his hand. 'Fine, whatever. I approve.' He snorted. 'I am so happy you approve 'my' schedule,' he mocked. I sighed and rolled my eyes. 'I could ask Sunstreaker to cover the remaining gaps in the evening–' he cut me off. 'No! We are not using my brother. He's going through enough and that won't change anything because I still like to hang out with my twin. Deal with the schedule, Skye.'

He grabbed his papers and turned around. 'Try to smile a little bit, Skye. You're not doing it very often.' He looked over his shoulder. 'I do smile, why keep people telling me to smile. I don't see how working here is fun,' I scolded. 'If you don't love your job, you'll never be able to keep doing it.' He opened the door and walked out. I rolled my eyes again before I got up and collected everything and left as well. I had a busy schedule for today and my argument didn't fit in my day at all.

Quickening my pace, I dashed around the corner, straight into Lennox. 'I am so sorry.' I crouched down. 'Are you in a rush? Did someone get murdered?' I jumped. 'No, sir. Just let.'
'It was sarcastic.' He patted my shoulder. 'Right, yeah...' I watched him disappear.

I sighed. 'Hey, can I talk to for a minute.' I groaned.
'Is someone dying?' Sunstreaker shook his head.
'Did someone threaten anyone with a gun?'
'No.'
'Did someone got beaten up?'
'No.'
'Is someone complaining about my schedules?'
'No.'
'Did you kill someone?'
'What?! No!'
'Good, then I am not interested.'

'Right, well, I don't take orders from you, so... I am going to say what I want to say anyway because we are walking to your destination anyway.' I grunted. 'I really don't have time to listen right now. There are a million things I need to do. If you want to take my job, be my guest.' He blocked my way. 'That it's not high on your priority list doesn't mean it's not important to me.'
'Fine, you have thirty seconds.'
'Thank you. You scheduled me for a patrol tomorrow but I can't. There's an art gallery and there some pretty impressive pieces that will only be there for two days. I need to see them.'

'You have 10 seconds left...'
'Reschedule me. Switch me with Jazz!'
I sighed. 'You know what... you mechs are not making my life easier. I will see which mech I can use to switch but there are no promises.' He looked me in the eyes, witch his beautiful big icy blue eyes. 'Don't do that. Don't use your eyes. I know your handsome and sexy but it won't change anything. Now move! Your 30 seconds are over.'

He stepped aside. 'You have a weak for me.'
'I don't! Have a nice day.' I passed him and headed for Prowl's office first. 'I got all the papers you need. Sideswipe and I just talked about the training schedule, which I don't agree on, but it's fine. You got a dinner tonight with a major from Kentucky and Optimus requested your presence this afternoon for a debriefing with Ironhide, Ratchet and Jazz at exactly 1 PM.'

'Good morning to you too...' he muttered. I sucked in a breath. 'It's too much for now, Skye. Just go, I'll have a look at everything later. I hope you realize it's six in the morning?' I hummed and nodded. 'I do—'

'And you dragged Sideswipe out of bed for an argument at this ridiculous time, make him cranky all day for what?'
I frowned. 'Sir, I didn't drag him out of bed. I asked him to meet me—' he cut me off. He raised his hand. 'Listen, I don't want you to wake Sideswipe up for arguments at six in the morning. Let him recharge till at least 7:30–'

'... Sir—'

'Be quiet, Skye, I am talking. He shouldn't be awake to listen to your crap. I need him focused, make it happen. Now leave, I haven't had my coffee yet and—' I placed a coffee cup on his desk. 'I know, I am sorry. It's early but I thought this was important—'

He cut me off again. 'Would you like being bothered at six in the morning? Because I don't and neither does Sideswipe. That I am sitting here, doesn't mean I am already working. Now get out off my office and make yourself useful that doesn't include making a fuss,' he snapped. I gave a nod. 'Yes, sir. I'll leave right away.'
I turned on my heels. 'You are good at everything you're doing here, Skye. Except making your life fun. You should take a few days off, go to Spain for Primus sake, but be happy.'
'I am happy. I like my job, I wouldn't want to be else where, sir.' I opened the door and walked out.
