Start. That went as disastrous as it could have gone.
I sheathed my wand, desperate to let go of the dammed thing. It has never performed any harm until now, and the moment the spell flew from its tip, I could tell that it had not intended for that to happen. Neither did I.It was meant to be a simple disarming spell, to get the weapon out of his hand, but clearly, it did more. I do not quite know what, yet it clearly had injured him, and he passed out. I do hope he's okay.
Leo was still silently watching as I walked over to him. I quietly spoke up. "..He's been overworked, and he lashed out. I don't blame him, though I do think he needs a break once he wakes up."
Solar only gave a slight nod of his head at that, which was a good sign, I'm hoping. Regardless, he seemed shocked, and possibly fearful. Not scared, nor afraid, but his eyes read fear. I hadn't seen that look in a while, especially not from him.
I walked up to the boy's body, and examined it for any injuries. I could not find anything major, though there were a few cuts and bruises all over his hands, presumably from the training. I sighed, hovered my own wand over his hand, and whispered an incantation. The cuts began to scab, and the bruises began to fade away. I knelt down and lifted up his own wand.
It looked like those sticks an instrumental conductor would use to coordinate his players during an orchestra, but at the feel of it, it did contain some form of magic. "Dogwood, six inches. Supple, but durable..." I mumbled to myself, lifting my wand above his. I couldn't tell the core, but I had a decent idea. I stood back up, and looked over at Leo.
He wasn't looking at me, but rather at the ceiling. "..You don't think?-"
"No." I simply answered. "No, I don't think so."
Though, I could never be sure.

AcakHey, so, just as a quick heads up: this isn't exactly a proper novel. It's a crossover thing of my own characters, along with some of my friends', so some things probably won't be understood. You're more than welcome to read it if you want, but that...
