7. He comes home drunk
The door to my apartment was slammed shut and a few noises was heard, before my boyfriend, Zayn, came stumbling into the livingroom. The clock was 3 a.m and I sat in the couch, with my mug of tea and just stared at the black tv screen.
"Hey babe! Wanna have some fun?" He slurred as I got up.
"No thanks" My tone was freezing. "Zayn! This is the third time, this week, you came home late and drunk outta your mind! I want you to quit drinking for a while" His eyes fired up and my cheek was stinging. That bastard slapped me! My eyes widened when I realized it and I got up. His breath hitched in his throat, when a light bulb went off over his head and he reached out to touch my cheek, but I tumbled back and ran into the bathroom.
I locked the door and slid down to the floor and hugged my knees. As much as I didn't want to cry, the tears won and streamed down my cheeks.
After an hour and a half, there was a knock on the door.
"Boo?" His voice was barely audible, but you heard it. He still slurred a bit, but it was genuinely concern in his voice. "Jessie! Open the door, please. I'm so sorry, baby" His voice pleaded and shook at the end. "Please don't leave me..." He whispered at the end.
I got up and opened the door. I saw Zayn standing there, his eyes was red and puffy, and when he realized the door was open, he pulled me into a hug and sobbed slightly on my shoulder.
"God! Jessie, I'm so sorry. I can't believe I did that! Please don't leave me, I can't live without you and I love you so much. If you want to en...-" I cut him off by cupping his face and kiss him on the lips. He immediately kissed back.
"I would never leave you, Zayn. I love you too" He kissed me again. "Just please promise me, no more late nights, where you come drunk home?" I shivered in fear as he raised his hand again, but relaxed when he caressed my cheek.
"Promise.." He whispered and kissed me carefully on my lips, and with that, I snaked my arms around his neck and kissed him fully back.
