21. 'You make it sound kinda sexy'

I was just joking around on my laptop, trying to come up with any clues to work. I worked as a police detective. Well, I helped them out sometimes and they payed me good for it. Right now they got a homicide and I had to look through the suspect's files. It was boring and Zayn wasn't home to cheer me up. Right when I thought that thought, the door opened and revieled Zayn, in his full glory.

"Hi.." I said tiredly and he smiled, walking over to me. He glanced down at the laptop and his brows furrowed.

"What's this?" He said and lifted me up, so he could sit down an place me on his lap.

"Just a new case..." I sighed and leaned into his chest. "Listen to this; The suspect is found guilty in rape, murder and several robberies, and he is still not caught!" I read from the screen. By the time I was done, Zayn was already kissinge delicately along my jawbone and sweet spot.

"Mmm.. That's terrible, but you make it sound kinda sexy..." He moaned, his voice vibrating over the skin on my neck. I giggled and closed the laptop, turned in his lap, making me straddling him. I placedy hands around his neck, pulling him closer to me and kissed him gently on his lips.

"I think we have him, but they're not sure, and that's where I come in" I whispered on his lips.

"I don't like how dangerous your job is, boo" He pouted. I knew he didn't like it, but my other half-time job couldn't pay all the bills, so I had to do the jobs.

"I know, babe, but you know I have to do it" I rested my head on his shoulder, nuzzling my nose in his neck.

"Yeah... Just promise me to be careful?" He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me closer.

"Promise.." I whispered and kissed his neck.

"I love you, baby" He said, resting the side of his head on top of mine.

"I love you too, Zayn" I whispered back and closed my eyes.
