Anne
Three Months Later

Anne was currently standing on the top of Toad Tower. The Toads and Sasha apparently were going to kill Anne's not-grandfather-grandfather, Hop Pop. And honestly, she couldn't care less. She would've happily left all of these stupid frogs to die, but this little annoying pink frog, Spring, had to cause a ruckus, causing Anne to hear them and 'save' them.
"Come on, Anne. Don't you want to go home? See your family? We don't even belong here." Sasha said, stepping closer. Anne was currently putting on the facade like she was under 'Sasha's' manipulation, when in reality, this was all her doing so that she could manipulate the slimy frogs who decided to take her in.
Anne lowered her sword, making sure her acting was on point. She had taken online tests a few months back, and she knew she was a dark empath. She knew what people wanted to hear and how they thought and felt and used all of it to her advantage. It was easy for her to get people to do what she needed them to do for her own benefit.
"See? That wasn't so hard, was it?" Sasha continued to say, unknowingly playing along perfectly in Anne's game. It hadn't taken much to push Sasha to this point, both Anne and Sasha's parents fuelled this behavior.
But then, out of nowhere, Sasha was hit in the face with what looked like mud. And Anne knew it came from Sprig's slingshot. Dang it Sprig! Just stop existing for a year, you annoy me. Anne thought, forcing herself to not glare at the little pink frog. Then he began to ramble on about something about Anne. She didn't know, she didn't care. The thing that caught her attention again was Sasha raising her sword and, to Anne's displeasure, she knew she had to save the slimy thing.
Anne blocked Sasha's sword with her own and the two began to sword fight. Anne had even accidentally given Sasha a major cut under her right eye and she had to fight back a smile. This was satisfying to her. Anne also knew she was sadistic and psychotic, because normal people wouldn't enjoy swordfighting their best friend, but she embraced it instead of trying to fix it. Sasha had quickly gotten up and began to fight again.
But out of the blue, the tower began to shake, and Anne knew Wally had disobeyed her earlier instructions to NOT blow the place up, and yet, he had. Toads and frogs alike were running down the stairs, trying to flee. The ground beneath Sasha had collapsed, and if it weren't for Anne catching her, she would have fallen to the ground and her possible death. Anne had her feet hooked onto the tower, holding onto Sasha's hand.
"Sorry Sasha," Anne whispered, grinning. "You no longer have that great of a use."

And with that, Anne let go.
