I got up of a couch when I heard something smash loudly. "What the fuck was that" I groaned as I walked down the steps to where Barry and two other guys were sitting outside. "Look who's awake" Barry laughed. As the guys turned to look at me as well. "Hey there gorgeous" one of them grinned at me. I rolled my eyes and looked around
"I sat your stuff next to the couch you passed out on" Barry said holding his beer up and pointing towards the couch. I smiled at him slightly before walking back to grab my stuff. I shoved my beach towel in my bag and put my shoes back on. I grabbed my bag and phone than said goodbye to Barry and left
I walked down the street past the shops and stopped at a jewelry store and looked in the window for a minute. I went to walked off and walked straight into someone. "Sorry" I apologised before looking up at them. "Watch it" a guy grumbled down at me before quickly walking off. I rolled my eyes and continued walking
I walked down onto the sand of the beach and stripped down to my bikini I was wearing from the day before. I sat all my stuff in a pile and walked down into the water. I swam around and jumped through the waves, for a while before heading up to the showers. I washed and dried myself off.
"Hey Maya" Someone said happily from behind me while I was wrapping my towel around my waist
I turned around and looked at them, it was Kiara and Pope. "Hi Kie, hey Pope" I smiled back at then as Kie hugged me. "Maya what happened to your eye?" Kie asked as she pulled away and her smile immediately dropped. "Im going to go get a table at The Wreck, Maya you coming?" Pope said staring at my eye as I nodded at him, before he grabbed his and Kie's stuff and walked off. "Maya, what happened to your eye" Kie said again getting a bit annoyed
"I got in a fight" I mumbled before slowly walking off towards The Wreck. "With who?" Kie said walking next to me with her head tilted, examining my face and body for more bruises. "Sarah" I grumbled as my head started hurting again. "Cameron?" She said half yelling at me. "yeah, but in my defence she was being a uptight asswhole" I groaned as we walked into The Wreck
"When is Sarah not being an asswhole, doesn't mean you need to fight her" Kie said. "Mum's going to kill you when she heard you got into another fight" she grumbled at me
"Hey Kie, hi May" JJ smiled at us as we walked into the restaurant. "Geese what happened to your eye?" JJ said a bit concerned. "Fight" I said jumping up onto the counter and sitting on it with my legs crossed. "With who?" Pope asked while furrowing his eyebrows. "Sarah" I said stealing a piece of toast from kie's plate when she walked out of the kitchen with a plate of food. "Maya that isn't yours" kie said taking it off me before I could eat it. "Where did you sleep last night?" Kie asked walking back over to us after she gave the food to the person. "Barry's" I mumbled quietly. "Barry's, why" Kie yelled at me quietly. "Cause I passed out" I mumbled why fiddling with my ring. "Passed out, how?" She said sternly as JJ looked at me worriedly before going to sit at a table with pope so we could talk. "I'm fine, just had a bit to much and passed out" I murmured while she glared at me. "To much of what" she said angrily
Before I could reply mum came walking out of the kitchen. "If yous aren't going to work, go somewhere else with your friends" she said lightly hitting my leg to make me get off the counter. "Yes mum" Kiara said quickly walking out the back door as the boys followed behind us
"You alright May?" JJ asked as we walked along the street with kie and pope talking to each other, a bit infront of us. "Yeah, I'm ok" I muttered quietly while fiddling with my ring again. JJ must of seen me doing it so he grabbed my hand to make me stop. "You really shouldn't be hanging out at Barry's or with Barry, especially not sleeping there" he whispered to me worriedly. "I passed out, I would of left otherwise, like I always do" I whispered while looking at the ground. "Lots of creeps and pedos hangout there, you have to be careful" He said still whispering as he let go of my hand and wrapped his arms around my shoulders. Pulling me closer to him, I layed my head on his shoulder and wrapped my arm around his side. "Please be more careful" his whispered before kissing the top of my head. "I will" I said as we turned the corner and started getting into John B's van.
