I layed my head on JJ's lap while him and John B argued about something, Pope did his homework. I groaned at JJ as he threw his hands up in the air dramatically making him move a lot. "Sorry May" he said putting his hands back down. "Where'd you go?" Pope asked as Kiara ran back up the stairs and inside. "Down to the look at the water in the Marsh, also mum said we have to come home now" Kie said grabbing out bags and throwing mine at my gut. "Why" I grumbled sitting up and looked around for my phone. "I don't know Maya, so hurry up" Kie said before saying goodbye to the boys. "Fine, I'm not walking back though" I said grabbing my stuff before saying goodbye to the boys.
"Hurry up Maya, mum's waiting at the end of the street in the car" Kie said walking of quickly. "Yeah yeah, I'm coming" I replied catching up to her before climbing into the back of the car.
"Where did you sleep last night Maya?" Mum asked as we drove into Kook side of the island. "John B's, sorry my phone died" I said staring out the window. "What happened to your eye then" Mum asked as Kie looked back at me then out the window. "We were kicking a ball around and John B kicked it a bit to hard and it his my face" I said making up a quick excuse as she drove into the drive way and we all got out.
"Good save but I don't think mum believed you" Kie whispered from behind me as we walked into the house. I spent the rest of the day in my room. Reading, drawing, listening to music and painting.
I fell asleep around ten thirty and woke up the next morning around nine. I woke up to Kiara opening my curtains making the sun shine into my eyes. "Breakfast is ready get up." Kiara said pulling the pillow out from under my head, leaving it in the ground before walking out. "How come my alarm didn't go off?" I yawned as I sat down next to Kie at the kitchen island. "Hurricane" Kie said while eating a piece of toast. "How come the powers still on then" I asked as dad walked in from out the back. "Back up generators" he said washing his hands in the kitchen sink. "The cuts got no power though" Kiara said sipping her juice.
I ate my breakfast quietly as mum and Kiara were talking about something to do with The Wreck. I got up from my seat and washed my plate before sitting back down before mum and kie walked off. "May" Dad said wiping his hands with a tea towel. "Yeah" I said as he put the tea towel down and walked over infront of me. "What happened to your eye, don't say you got hit in the face with a soccer ball" Dad said before walking over to the fridge and pouring himself cold water. I sat there for a moment quietly, Dad never got angry at me, well not very often or as much as mum does. "I got in a fight" I mumbled. "With?" Dad said putting the water back in the fridge and walking back over to me. "Sarah Cameron" I responded before getting up to leave. "Sit back down" He said gesturing his hand at me then at the seat. I wondered back to the island and sat back down. "Why?" He questioned me while staring at my eye. "I don't know" I muttered while crossing my arms. He stared at me for a minute before walking past me and saying "Alright" while patting me on the head. He walked off outside.
I walked back upstairs and into my room, I grabbed my towel before walking across into the bathroom. I had a quick shower before drying off. I wrapped the towel around me and walked straight across, into my room. I got changed into a dark blue bikini, a pair of blue denim shorts and a old baggy Nirvana shirt. I put my shoes on and grabbed my phone before walking outside and messaging John B as I walked down to the dock.

Maya- Hey are yous coming yet?
JJ- Yeah, we're almost there, make sure kie's there so we don't have to wait on her
Maya- Okay, have yous got Pope yet?
JJ- Nah, not yet, we'll get him after
Maya- Heywards not going to like Pope leaving after the hurricane last night
JJ- I'll charm him with my beautiful smile ;)
Maya- mhm, you're going to charm him with your smile
JJ- Yep, also we're going to be there in like two seconds
Maya- Okay

I quickly shoved my phone in my pocket and ran up the dock to call Kie. "Kiara, hurry up" I yelled from the back door before grabbing the Esky. I walked down the dock as Kie ran down behind me and stopped next to me. "Morning" John B smiled happily at us as the boat stopped in front of us. "Morning boys" Kie smiled as she stepped down onto the boat and sat down. "Morning gorgeous, what you got in that?" JJ smiled as he put his hand out and helped me down. "Oh you know, carrot sticks, juice, celery" I smiled as I sat it down and sat down next to JJ. I gave everyone a beer before sitting back down with my leg over JJ's.
"Attention Pope Heyward, emergency Pogue meeting, all attendance mandatory" JJ said, standing on top of the boat while, pretending to talk into a walkie talkie on his shoulder as we came up next to Pope. "Nah I can't, my dad's got me on lock down" Pope said while washing the dock with a hose. "Your dad's a pussy, over" JJ said while me and kie laughed as Mr Heyward walked over behind Pope. "Oh I heard that you little asswhole" Heyward said while wiping his hands with a rag. "We need your son" John B called out. "Yeah, day after a hurricane is a free day" JJ said exchanging his arms out dramatically. "Who the hell made that up?" Heyward said annoyed. "Pentagon, I think" JJ said rubbing his head an looking back at me. "Hell no, you lot think I'm stupid" Heyward responded even more annoyed. "Pope get in the boat" john B whispered while JJ argued with Heyward. The boat slowly pulled away while Kie and JB waved Pope into it. "Hell no, don't get in that boat" Heyward said now staring at Pope. Pope just stared at him before jumping in the boat. "No, get back up here" Heyward yelled at him as he followed the boat a bit before we pulled away more. "I'll clean up when I come back, I promise" pope said leaning against the boat, next to John B. "Yeah and your gonna clean your dirty ass room" Heyward yelled, we all started laughing while Pope threw his hands in the hair before sitting down next to Kie.
