JJ's POV:
Pope, Kie and May fell asleep almost as soon as we left the beach. We dropped Pope at home first then drive over to figure eight to bring the girls home. "You got Maya?" John B asked as Kie stumbled out of the van and into her house after saying goodnight. "Yeah, I got her" I said scooping May up in my arms and carrying her up to the front door. "Shit" I mumbled almost dropping her as the front door opened. It was Mr Carrera, he opened the door fully and let me in. "Be quite JJ" he groaned annoyed following me up the stairs, sounding like he was half asleep. I layed her in her bed and pulled the blanket over her as the gun fell out her pocket and on the floor next to my feet. I picked it up and quickly shoved it in my pocket before leaving. "You right Maybank?" John B asked, starting the van again as I jumped in. "All good, you right Routledge?" I smiled at him. "Alright" he smiled back before driving off out of their drive way.
I waved John B off before walking inside my house. I locked the front door behind me and took my shoes off. I looked around for dad to see if he was home or not. He was. He was passed out on the couch, like most nights. I walked over to my room and locked my door. I walked over to my dresser and took my shirt off and threw it on the floor. I pulled the gun out of my pocket and looked at it. I don't know why I kept the stupid thing. I should of threw it in the Marsh or something. I could of hurt someone with it, it could of been faulty. What if I accidentally pulled it again when May put her hand over it. I shoved it in my dresser before changing into a pair of grey trackies. I moved my blanket and sheets around and climbed into bed. I layed there on my side for a while staring out the window. I tossed and turned for a bit before falling asleep.
I woke up to dad crashing around in the kitchen. I rolled over and got up, I walked past the lounge room where some of dad's friends were sitting and into the kitchen. "Ooi where's my stuff" dad asked annoyed while looking through the cabinets. "What stuff?" I asked while shoving my hands in my pockets. "You know, my wallet and all that" he said searching through the draws. "I put it in your dresser cause you had a bunch of people here and I didn't want anyone taking it" I said as he shut the draw infront of him and walked off to his room. "Thanks" he said sitting down in the lounge room next a couple of guys. "Aww your kinda cute, younger version of Luke" A lady smiled at me while smoking something in her hand. "Dad" I grumbled to him as he looked at me then at her. "Leave him alone, go do something would you JJ" dad said while sorting through a stack of cash. The lady rolled her eyes before I walked off to my room again. I grabbed a change of clothes and walked into the bathroom and locked the door. I showered quickly, got changed and brushed my teeth. I threw my trackies on my floor before shoving the gun in my pocket. I locked my bedroom door than walked off out the house.
Maya's POV:
I got up out of bed and slowly made my way down the stairs. I went to sit down at the island next to Kiara as mum started talking. "Right now that you're both up" Mum said. "Oh god" I groaned as I sat down and my head started hurting a bit. "Maya shut up and stop complaining" She said as Dad walked in and leant against the counter next to her. "Kiara, don't laugh about it you not much better than your sister" Mum yelled at Kie after she laughed a bit. "Sorry" Kie muttered. "No, Ive had enough, yous never go to school, and when yous do you get in trouble or leave early for no reason. Yous are always getting in some sort of trouble and I don't want yous hanging out with those boys anymore" She yelled at us. "What? Dad!" I yelled back in response while looking at Dad. "No, don't look at him for help, no more talking to, going near or even looking at those boys" Mum said as Dad just stood there and watched us. "And if yous do, you'll both be grounded. Now go back to your rooms" Mum said before walking off and slamming the front door behind her. "Dad!" Kie yelled annoyed. "Listen to your mother" he said before leaving too. I pushed my chair out and walked up the stairs. "This is bullshit" Kiara grumbled behind me. "Yeah" I replied walking into my room.

Maya- shit, why
John B- doesn't take long for a fight to spread around obx, she just left mine
Maya- fuck sake, does she know about the gun and JJ
John B- yeah, I tried to say there was no gun involved but she already knew
Maya- Okay, mum's going to kill me and Kie, she's already yelled at us today
John B- Sorry, yous ok
Maya- yeah sort of, you alright
John B- yeah, just a black eye and a couple of bruises
Maya- alright, I gotta go, I'll message JJ
John B- okay, see ya

JJ- yeah righto, you want to come surfing? Avoid talking to Peterkin
