"Why do I have to come to this stupid thing" I muttered to Dad as we stood outside of the car. "Because you were invited Maya" Mom said getting out of the car. "Now no misbehaving, or yous are both dead" Mom said as we walked up to the restaurant. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms as the Cameron's walked up to us. Mom and dad greeted them all as I faced the door away from them. "Maya don't be rude" Mom said tapping my back with the back of her hand. "Hi" I said smiling at them all as I turned around and Topper and his mother walked up to us all. They signed in or whatever than we all followed the waitress out to a long table out the back of the restaurant on the patio. I sat down near the end next to Kie, and across from Sarah and Mom.

I looked through the menu quietly with Kie while Mom and dad talked with the rest of the adults. I could here Sarah and Topper laughing about something while Rafe and wheezie sat next to us quietly as well. I flipped back and forth through the menu trying to decide what to get as the waitress waked back over to ask for us what drinks we wanted. We all replied as she smiled at us all than walked off back to the kitchen. I looked around the table at everyone. Everyone was smiling beside me, Kie, Wheezie and Rafe.
I kinda felt bad for Wheezie because no one had talked to her since we got here and probably before, but the waitress when she sat us down. "Wheezie?" I said looking behind Kie. "Yeah?" Wheezie smiled back also looking behind Kie. "What are you getting?" I asked with a smile. "Fish, salad and chips" She smiled back at me. She looked happy to be talking to someone. Kie looked sideways at Wheezie than frowned at me in confusion as to why I was talking to her. "Nice, is there anything else good on here, we haven't been here and I'm not really in the mood for fish." I asked as Kie rolled her eyes and went back to looking at her menu. Wheezie gave me a thew suggestions before I thanked her and we turned back around. As I turned back around I saw Sarah frowning at me as Topper talked to her. "What?" I whispered yelled at her while frowning back. "Shut up" she grumbled quietly me. "Err shut up" I grumbled mimicking her to make her annoyed. Kie laughed a bit while resting her cheek on her fist with her elbow in the table. "Shut up Kiara" Sarah muttered growling at Kie. "I didn't even say anything, be quite Sarah" Kiara said snickering at the blonde girl infront of her. "Yeah shut up Sarah" I laughed. "Maya" Mom said kicking me so I'd stop. I rolled my eyes and sticked my tongue out at Sarah which made her more annoyed. Topper frowned at the three of us confused before glaring at me and Kie.
After we ordered the food came out a little later and we all started eating. "Maya?" I heard someone say form the other end of the table. I wasn't completely focused on anything so I didn't know what was happening. Mom nodded her head towards Ward as she cut her steak. "Pardon?" I asked looking down the table. "What classes are you taking this year?" Ward repeated himself with a smile. "Um, AP maths, history and a couple others I don't really remember" I smiled back as he nodded. "Sarah's taking AP maths as well" he smiled as I nodded and looked back down at my food. "Topper what are you taking?" Dad asked looking over at Topper. "AP English, geography and business studies" he beamed happily. I rolled my eyes as Sraha glared at me again. I looked up and winded my eyes at her quickly, making a face at her. She scrunched her nose up at me. "Stop Maya" Mom said kicking my leg. Ward looked up at us two making faces at eachother before laughing at us. Remember when you lot used to get along now yous sit there making faces and annoying eachother." Ward laughed while cutting his food. "Sorry" I said as Sarah muttered an apology too.
