Joyful laughs echoed trough the house which came none other than the lovely couple themselves.

Hyunjin was hugging Felix from behind, pressing soft kisses all over on his small lover's shoulder while the boy prepared food for both of them.

"Stop Jinnie" Felix giggled due to the ticklish sensation his lovely husband created.

"I can't when you're so adorable, love" Hyunjin said, nuzzling his nose further into the brunette's sensitive neck, drawing a cute whine out of him in response.

This was like a usual thing for them to do. They truly loved each other and always felt an urge to be as close as possibile. Because to that, they often clunged to each other, seeking love and lots of affection. Mostly Hyunjin glued himself to the small boy's sides, hugging him with care and pressing sweet, gentle kisses on his neck or face while Felix stayed busy with cooking or gardening. Not like Felix minded though, cuz he himself acted like a leech sometimes, visiting his husband at work just for some loving touches.

Their lives were fairly good so was their relationship.
However, nothing lasts forever, as their sweet moment got interrupted by a loud knock on the door, making both of them sligthly jump at the sudden but harsh noise.

"I'll get it" Hyunjin announced, untagling himself from the younger and making his way towards the door with slight nervousness. He could feel a bitter taste arise in his mouth as he hesitantly pressed down the doorknob, opening the door with concern. And what he saw in the doorway made him froze in place. It was something he had been afraid of for a while now.

There stood a soldier with a white envelope in his hand, a big government stamp decorating the top.

Hyunjin gulped, already guessing what that piece of paper contained.

"Hwang Hyunjin" the man spoke up sternly, his voice cold and containing anything but friendliness.

"That would be me" Hyunjin answered, trying not to show too much nervousness.
The man brought his hand towards Hyunjin, holding out the envelope stiffly. The ravenette took the envelope and bowed, thanking before the soldier could turn his back on him and take his final leave.

Hyunjin swallowed thickly and opened the envelope, reading the paper carefully.
The ravenette could feel his heart tear into small, sharp pieces as he repeated the last sentences. The envelope contained exactly what he thought it would contain.

He got invited into the millitary.

Hyunjin sighed,slowly tearing his attention away from the paper. Though his heart wrenched in an almost torturous way the moment he took a glimps of a small figure curiously standing in the doorway, gazing at him from the distance.

"What's wrong, love?" Felix asked, worry filling his voice as he took small steps toward his beloved husband, sensing something was off based on how he reacted.

As Felix got there, Hyunjin immediately pulled closer the cute boy and hugged his small frame, burrying his head into the soft brown hair.

"Lixie..." Hyunjin started, his voice slightly cracking.

"They've invited me into the millitary"

Silence took over the house quick. Both of them stayed in the same position not even daring to move even the slightest bit. Hyunjin was hugging Felix while the brunette's face was pressed into Hyunjin's neck. After some minutes passed Felix slowly pulled away and looked up to his husband's face with teary eyes, making Hyunjin's heart completly shatter into pieces by the painful sight.
