ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝟠- 𝕆𝕟𝕝𝕪 𝕗𝕠𝕣 ℕ𝕠𝕨

"I-I'm sorry, Minato..." Giyu stumbled, "But I don't like you in that way. You're only a friend to me."

Minato burst into tears again, and, everything forgotten, all the other pillars rushed to soothe her, and Shinobu, Mitsuri and Giyu all quietly slipped off to their rooms, leaving the crying mass behind them.

The next week

"Caw, caw! South-east! New demon alert! Upper Rank alert! Kanroji Mitsuri, Giyu Tomioka, Kocho Shinobu and Rin Minato! Go! South-east! Upper Rank! Caw, caw!"

Shinobu, Giyu, Mitsuri and Minato all looked up from their activities. They quickly emerged from their rooms and met up at the Wisteria door.

"Look, guys, before we go, we just need to set things straight, for now, okay? Because if it's really an Upper Rank demon, we'll have no chance at defeating it if we don't have teamwork or if we're angry at each other. So can we please just make up now? Just for this?" Mitsuri said.

"Of course!" Minato smiled, seeming to have changed attuides. "I'm so sorry, Tomioka-san, for burdening you! We'll always be the best of friends, yes? And Mitsuri-san, I'm ever so sorry for getting angry at you. You too, Shinobu-chan. Let's be a trio again, yes?"

Shinobu had a bad feeling about this and she wasn't sure, but Mitsuri made sense- they had to make up in order to go on a mission together. The Master was obviously very smart with his choices.

"Yes." Shinobu answered numbly, "Yes, of course I forgive you. Let's be friends again."

"Yay!" Mitsuri squealed, "This is great! Let's go!"
