The next day

Author POV:

"I understand what occured yesterday may have been Minato being controlled by a demon, although it hasn't yet proven to be possible. My likely guess is that Minato was posioned or injected by a special toxic liquid that can control minds." the Master explained to Giyu.

Minato had managed to convince everyone that she hadn't been herself when the incident with Shinobu had occured. She was a good liar- so convincing that Shinobu herself almost believed her.

"Do you think she's lying, Mitsuri?" Shinobu asked the love pillar.

"I'm not sure if I can judge so soon," Mitsuri smiled, "But it's likely. She's a demon, after all, she probably has bad intentions. But then again, maybe she's right and I was just going crazy, ha! But all shall be revealed when you do a test on her, right? Your medical skills are like, so impressive."

"Ha! I don't know about that," Shinobu laughed, "But if Minato is lying, then.."

"She'll be exiled." Mitsuri finished for her, sighing.

"She's safe for now." Giyu suddenly said, emerging from the room in which the Master had been speaking to him and Minato.

"Oh! Tomioka-san.." Shinobu said, "I wanted to thank you. You know, for saving me from possesed Minato or something. If it hadn't been for you, I'd be dead!"

"It's nothing," Giyu answered dismissevly, "If I were you, I'd be watching Minato carefully. The Master has decided to rearange the testing to be right now. If Minato is lying, then she's dangerous. So the Master told me to tell you to meet Minato at the Butterfly Mansion."

"Oh! Alright, then." Shinobu turned to Mitsuri. "I'll be back soon, okay? Probably by dinner! See you!" She smiled and jumped into the air in the direction to her estate.

At the Butterfly Mansion, medical room

"Hello, Minato-san!" Shinobu greeted the sand pillar cheerfully, deciding to believe her story for now while she ran the tests.

"Hi, Shinobu-san!" Minato greeted her back just as warmly, although her smile didn't quite reach her eyes.

"So all I'll do is run a few tests on your blood, to check for any hints of poison or special gas, okay? I'll just do a quick injection, and-"

Suddenly, Shinobu felt something hard knock against her head and she fell back, her head spinning.

"What-?"

Minato's evil laugh pierced the air. "Did you really think you were going to investigate me? Ha! No way! I'm not stupid, mind you." The sand pillar kicked Shinobu so hard that she flew across the room.

"K-K... Kanao! Help!" Shinobu screamed for her younger sister, but Minato just laughed again.

"Oh, I just knew this would happen, so I had to take extra precaution!" Minato smirked, "I locked all of those pesky girls in the cellar and all the servants are bound from head to toe! Also gagged. No-one can help you now!"

S-shoot, I have to get up and fight, Shinobu thought, but she was suddenly bound together in a flash by Minato.

Shinobu's eyes widened. How was the sand pillar so fast?

Shinobu opened her mouth, but before she knew it, she was gagged too.

"Now, I'm really getting quite tired of you," Minato said, "You've been quite the trouble and hard to kill, in fact. I almost lost everything when I failed to murder you yesterday, and with all my questionable excuses, it could lose trust. My reputation is getting ruined because of you! Now I'm not going to spare you any last words. Die, you foul human!"

*CRASH!*

Shinobu and Minato's eyes both widened as they looked to the roof and saw it cave in. Rock, debris and funirture flew across the room and smashed heavily onto the floor.

Darkness was all Shinobu saw before she felt a piece of debris hit her hard on the head, and she fell back, into a pitch-dark abyss.
