Author's POV

"Y/n! dear, look at you--- oh you've gotten so big." Your aunt exclaims with a cheery tone, she was a middle aged woman, the younger sister of your mother who was absent in all your life since she was too busy getting herself to be independent and rich.

She lived in the states when she was just in college, that's the time where your mother died, she didn't get to visit since she was too busy on her studies, she blames her self til this day about it.

"It's nice to finally see you aunt Yurika." you say with a small smile, the apartment complex was a lot luxurious than you expected, it was not luxurious to an extent it was in the middle. It was clean and modern indeed, "I'm sorry, if it was sudden that I had to call and ask if I could stay here."

"That's no problem dear, you know I could help someone who can stay and take care of this old place up since I'm rarely home." She tells you, she does look like she snuggles herself with paperwork, "Come in!"

And just like that you were already sitting right at the chair in the big living room with your aunt walking over to you with two glasses of juice in her hand, she hands you one of them and sits beside you.

"I didn't get to take care of you when your parents... you know." She says in a saddened voice, you shook your head to her.

"It's really fine, Aunt Yurika. I was able to become independent on my own, and I'm certain I was only gonna be a burden to you." You say in all honesty, moving your head to look down.

"Oh child don't ever think that, you're my sisters daughter, she's very dear to me, and I see her in your eyes." She exclaims, another sweet smile coming out of her, "You go settle in, okay? I'm about to leave work though, I begged them for a few hours just to welcome you!"

-

The place was wonderful, the type where someone can settle in quite easily. Your aunt Yurika had already went on her way to work, you already expected that you'd be alone most of the time, since your mother mentioned once to you she was such a workaholic woman.

You sighed, sitting down on the couch again after a short journey through out the apartment, and not a second after your mind began to bring back memories with Osamu and you.

You needed to get those thoughts out of you, It wasn't helping with your self heal and meditation to make yourself better.

you stood up again, so instead of just laying around you fancied yourself to go through out of the door. now meeting the hallway of the apartment, you turned your head to your left and just right in time, the room beside yours, the door opened. and the owner walked out, after the cute little dog whom got out first.

"Lev?" You called out of surprise.

The silver haired man snaps his head over to you, his eyes widening instantly, "Y/n?"

"What are you doing here?" The tall man walks himself over to you with a happy smile to see you present in the building, "You know, I always seem to meet you in such unexpected time!"

"I know, I live here now." You announce to the russian man in front of you, and his smile soon dropped.

"Wha... What happened to Osamu?" He asks, fighting wether it was even okay for him to ask, you looked so sad.

"Oh well, we parted ways... for good." Yeah for good, but you felt as though you shouldn't have done it at all.

"Oh... I'm sorry I didn't know and if I did I shouldn't have asked." Lev says, feeling really sorry for how he was being careless with his questions, you might feel so displeasure now.

"It's alright, and who's this cutie?" you ask before finally crouching down and moving your attention to dog that was sitting on Lev's feet.

The dog barked softly at you before breathing heavily with it's tongue out.

"This is Nigou, we were just about to head out for a walk. Say Y/n, want to join us? I can give you a tour on the way."

"I have no other things to do, so why not."

-

"Osamu." The silver haired hears his name being called as he finally throws the black trash bag to the dump, he wipes his sweat off of his forehead before turning around to meet the caller, he squints his eyes as the sun flashes.

But the figure was familiar and so as it's voice, "Yashino-san, how are you?"

"Who cares how I am, how's your restaurant?" The landlord asks, Osamu walks his way closer to him to hear him better.

"It's fine, readying it up for a move in Osaka." Osamu answers with a forced out smile, trying to seem like he was grateful for it.

"I heard from Nami, are you okay?" The old man once again asks.

Osamu fell silent, his heart began to clench at the thought of you, damn it. he avoids eye contact from the old man, and the Yashina took his silence to heart.

"Love is indeed hard, especially when both of you have different future from each other." The old man exclaims in a gentle tone, "But if you ask me, I'd still fight for her. If you know right in your heart that both of you can fix the problem, then I don't see why not to try."

"I wanted to tell her that, I can handle with myself staying here. Live with her, and grow old with her." Osamu replies his tone ever so low and just plain sad.

"Then don't just say that, show her! fight for her, what are you doing here drowning in your own misery." The old landlord scolds once more, "I'm just giving you a piece of my mind cause... I liked looking at the two of you."

"But I might be stupid to say this but... how." Osamu asks, genuinely curious and he lacked knowledge of the topic.

"The moment will present itself, I bid you goodluck."

"Thank you Yashino-san."
