I was cleaning the clubhouse called Lux was a simple job.
I had the place to myself. the owner was upstairs doing whoever or whatever he does.
the Bartender that hired me was off somewhere. so I decided to play some music while I cleaned to fill the empty air.
I played I'm N Luv(with a stripper) as I cleaned the floor.
I was dancing as I continued mopping the floor.
"Who are you?"
I about fell on my ass from that but the person who spoke caught me.
"holly fuck" I say pressing pause on the remote.
"well?" he asked
"the cleaner" I replied moving the mop around to emphasize my words.
"I never hired a cleaner" he says
"well I was hired to clean this clubhouse, "I say
he walked off stopping short to turn and beckon me to follow.
I sighed and put the mop back in the bucket before carefully following.
"sit" he says pointing to the stool before the bar
I glared at him before I sat down.
he looks at me like he was waiting for me to say something.
"Now tell me who hired you" he says
"Madz," I say
"who is that?" he asked looking confused
"the woman who hired me" I say
"Lucifer why are you bothering her when she's working?"
I looked over towards Madz or as she says people call her Maze.
"I thought she was robbing the place," he says
she rolled her eyes.
"I hired her to clean this place cause I don't have time for that plus handle the other matter you wanted me to" she says
"right" Lucifer as Maze called him says
he looked at me and I looked back at him.
"sorry for scaring you. I honestly thought you was about to rob my club" he says
"with a mop?" I asked
"you never know what people will use for a weapon" he says
I just look at him.
"this place is the cleanest I've ever seen it" Madz says taking it all in
"I beg your pardon Maze, but I've had this place clean" Lucifer says
"not to the point you'd be able to eat off the floors" she says
he made a face.
"why on earth would you do that?" he asked
"figure of speech" she says
"a figure of what?" he asked
"Nothing Luci" she says
"right...well have you finished?" he asked looking back at me.
"mopping was the last bit... so yeah I'm done" I say
"thank you...Maze pay her and allowed her to be gone" he says
he went to walk away.
"you are so damn rude ... I mean you scared the hell outta me which yeah you said sorry, then you turn around and think I'm gonna rob the place which if I was I'd had this place ransacked not looking spit shine. and thrid I'm a nobody that you can just have be gone like a vagrant. I'm a damn human" I say
at this time I was right in his face.
"was you not raised with manners?" I asked
"no. and the devil doesn't have manners," he says
"let me spend one day with him and he'll know them by the time I get through with him." I say
"I am him" he says
"and I'm the queen of all queens" I say before I shake my head and walk past him making sure I hit his shoulder.
"I'll pay you how we agreed. and don't worry about the equipment I'll handle it" Madz says
"thank you. and I will be taking my leave before this one here pisses me off more" I say
