Amen, and God talked with Lucifer about coming to a family dinner but he denied it.
So I told him if he needed me to I'd go with him as a form of support. which he was glad that I offered and took me with him to the dinner.
"I am sorry for just inviting myself. I know you wanted your family here." I say
"you and Linda can stay. I mean she had one of my grandkids and you're soon to have my other one" God says
I nodded my head and walked over to grab my a plate and utensils before I took a seat on the side where Lucifer was supposed to be but he moved his chair to the other end of the table.
I placed the plate and utensil down before I grabbed myself a chair.
the grace was a bit weird I guess cause Linda is feeling weird or not sure how to go about saying it.
Amen tried to make her feel better but he didn't work.

I sat there not saying anything just listening to whoever talked.
I knew soon enough drama and butting heads were gonna happen.
Lucifer started talking to Micheal and I sat there drinking some water.
I looked between the two as I took a small bite.
"had it not been for my lovely fiance here I'd not show," Luc says
I put my glass down and just watched it all unfold.
"I mean Micheal tried to harm her just to get at me," Luc says
I knew Linda was uncomfortable and Amen was just wishing to be somewhere else.
I carefully reached over going to touch him but with him and Micheal going toe to toe. I dropped my hand.
I stood up and got between the two.
"Enough both of you" I say Placing my hands on both their chests.
they both shut up and looked at my hands before looking back up
"please sit back down." I say
they both looked at me.
"Please" I say
they did as I asked
Once they sat back down I took a seat.
"I know I don't have much say in what has been going on between you and your brother or you and God. & I know that there are so many unanswered questions and things that seem to be left alone when they aren't helping anyone. but can you all just sit peacefully in one room and enjoy one another's company? it could be quite a long time before it ever occurs again. and Yes I'm well aware that its a lot to ask but its not a difficult task" I say
When no one talked I sighed.
"Excuse me... I'm gonna head out. I appreciate the whole inviting me at the last minute. but I have to get Luc out of here before this house becomes a disastrous place" I say
I stood back up and placed my napkin on the table before I grabbed Lu's hand and pulled him with me out of the house.
"Thanks for that" he says
I climbed into the driver's side saying nothing for the time being.
he climbed in and didn't say anything.
I drove off heading home.
when I parked and handed the keys to the valet I walked around the car and grabbed Luc's wrist and headed off inside and up to the penthouse.
"I'm not mad, not upset, or anything. I Just think there are a lot of things that are bothering you. and that you need to talk one on one with your father. " I say
"you're right. and I am glad you're not upset with me" he says
"Lu you didn't do anything to upset me or make me mad. I just wasn't wanting to air your personal business in the open and I wanted to hurry home so we can talk freely" I say
He nodded his head in understanding.
Once we stepped out into the penthouse we went and sat on the couch.
"call Amen and see if your father will come and talk." I suggest
"will you be here?" he asked
"yeah. I am taking it easy . I was on my feet far too long" I say kicking my feet up and placing them on the foot stool Lu purchased for this very reason.
"I'll call him then" he says
I nodded my head and lead back starting to relax while I still could.
