I couldnt believe how stupid I've been these last few months.
I stood there watching Lucifer and Chole and I couldn't believe the betrayal, the pain, and the heartbroken the one person I thought to be different the rest was making me feel and had caused me.
I turned around and left heading to the penthouse to pack up all my belongings. but with me crying none stop and sniffling wasn't helping make things easier.
Maze, Amen, and Eve tried to reason with me but I wasn't listening nor was I having any of it.
"what is going on here?"
I continued to grab my things and pack them up.
"Darling where are you going?" Lucifer asked
he walked up and grabbed my arm halting my movements before offering me his handkerchief.
I wiped my eyes and blew my nose.
"chose" I say
"chose what?" he asked
I sniffled and used my arm to wipe the building tears away.
"between Chole and me." I say
he stood there gapping his mouth like a fish outta water.
"what brought this on?" he asked
"just do it Lucifer" I say
he stood there still not doing anything but staring at me.
"I don't understand.. .are you alright?" he asked
"DO IT" I yelled
he jumps and correct his posture while everyone including Dan, and Ella stood there along with Linda.
"now?" he asked
"yes" I say
"cant it wait till we are alone?" he asked
"No... chose now" I say
"why?" he asked
"Cause I'm done with the shit you've done to me, the pain, the betrayal, the heartache all cause of that piece of shit ex-pornstar...I'm done with it... and I want you to tell me who it is you want to be with most. no more games no more putting it off...no more delays" I say and wipe more of the fallen tears away.
"I asked you to marry me" he says
"yeah you did. but you've been up Deckers ass more times then a propctogist ever had" I say
"I beg your pardon." he says
"I will not repeat myself... and don't make me call you by your given name..." I say
"don't do that I hate it" he says
"and I hate when you pull the shit you have and are right now." I say
"alright.. alright I will chose" he says
he looks from me to CHole and then down before he messes with his balzer and clears his throat.
"I love you... but not the way you want to be loved or think you'll get from me" he says
I stand there listening to him.
"I don't love you romantically though you've tried countless times to force it, and you think me protecting you is a form of romantic love when its not. I just don't want an innocent child to be alone with out her mother" he says
Iblinked the rest of the tears away before I look fully at Lucifer.
he looks over at Chole.
"I don't love you the way you try to force me to. nor will I ever. I love my fiance and I will never love anyone as much as I love her." he says
"but you've always been here for me during all my cases" she says
"cause no one wants to partner with you, not even your ex. I do it to get bad guys to punish them which is my job as the Devil." he says
she starts to tear up.
" I'll never love you more than just a work partner or friend." he tells her
she cries and nods her head before leaving.
He looks at me.
"I'm sorry I've made you feel like you were being betrayed and all by me. it wasn't my intention." he says
"it hurt, and I honestly thought from how you started off with the whole ordeal you'd look at me and tell me that." I tell him
he walks over to me.
"I'd never not love you. you were made specifically for me. dad knew I needed you and he created you and brought you into my life. which I am thankful for him to do so cause without you'd I'd be a lost soul." he says
he wraps his arms around me and pulls me close as everyone leaves us.
"thank you" I say
he plans down and kisses me before wiping my tears away.
"now lets put your belongs back where they go and I'll get started on making it all up to you" he says
I nodded my head before I pulled back and we get to work on putting my things back.
