"No", the girl in early twenties audibly whispered.
The woman sitting across her huffed, clearly showing irritation in her face but masked it with a small smile.
"This is not going to work, Ankita", the lady addressed the girl. The girl didn't respond, instead she was looking at the fingers she was fidgeting. "You need to open up. These monotonous answers are not helping both of us." She continued but the girl didn't care look at her.
"It's been two and a half years since we started this therapy. Still you were not ready to open up. The main purpose of this therapy is for you to take a right decision. Before you could clearly understand the meaning of marriage you were forced into it ." She continued.
The girl still didn't respond to her.
"Silence is not the answer for everything, Ankita."
"I don't know what to say, Meenaji", her eyes blankly staring at nowhere. "I don't know what to do. I am unable to understand what's happening to me. I'm restless and helpless." Tears started to swell in her eyes.
Seeing her glossy eyes, the woman sat beside her on the sofa and laid her hand on the girl's shaking hands, in a comforting manner.
"That is why I'm here. I will help you to go through this phase." She paused for a minute and continued, " but you need to be honest and open up your feelings. Whether it is anger, happiness, frustration or sadness, you need to let it out. Till now I asked you so many questions but the answers you gave were confusing. I can't help you in this manner." She caressed the girl's hair in a soothing manner. "We'll do one thing." She smiled at the girl, who was looking at her with her wide eyes.
"You start telling your story." She looked at girl's face. Her expression was telling she was going to have a panic attack.
"Easy there", the lady said massaging the girl's back. "Let it out. Let every thing out. Get that burden in your heart lessen."
"I can't", the girl mumbled looking at the floor.
"I will help you. Just let it out. And when you feel uncomfortable just stop." The lady assured her.
"Ok", was the only word she could speak.
After like few minutes, "Ankita", the lady spoke "please", the lady insisted.
"I don't know from where to start." The girl sighed.
"Your story, your wish." The lady replied.
"Her name is Ankita Desai." The girl started, staring blankly at the marble floor. The lady kept her hand on the girl's shoulder, encouraging her to continue the story.
"A 15-year old girl from a village in Kolhapur. She  had everything a normal girl had. She was the only girl for her parents. Though her father owns only one acre land and had debts on that, he saw that he provided atleast two meals everyday for the family. She had a carefree life, not bothered about the future she held." She sighed and continued.
"They say god always never gives contentful life to anyone. Her parents died in a bus accident making her an orphan. But her bua (father's sister) took care of her as her own child. She provided her everything which she could afford. The girl was again happy and her life was going normal until......", she gulped hard and saw the lady who was listening to her till now with sacred expression on her face.
The lady could understand her for she knew whom she was dealing with.
"Until what Ankita?" Though the lady questioned her, she knew the answer, whom the girl was referring. In before sessions she observed that the girl always got terrified whenever she was to take his name. But today, she knew that the girl need to take his name.
Until he.....he sa..saw me." The lady's hand started shivering, as which name to expect. She saw the girl's face. Her eyes were filled with terror. His name created terror in both the females sitting there. The lady immediately composed herself as she determined to let out this terror from the girl who was literally shivering. She knew the time has come for her blurt out the name. The name which created havoc in her life.
"Who is he, Ankita", the lady asked her.
"A....Aadhiraaj Vashisth also known as Rakshas (Demon) an....and I...I'm his obsession."
